Works... but not great

But only a few months after purchasing it, the locking mechanism that keeps the dvd tray in broke. It still works when I use a rubber band to hold it shut, but it is annoying to have to use that.

This does perfect. The USB cord is a bit short but long enough. Runs on USB power so that's one less thing to carry. About as slim as you can get.

Great for newer laptops without DVD drives

I got this for my MacBook Air, and it was at a much better price than the Apple drives. Would recommend this for anyone would needs to burn cds, play dvds, etc.
