I had no problems connecting to Win 8.1 netbook. It's light, doesn't take up much room, and slips easily into the computer bag. Quite satisfied.

Replaced an OLD HP with this. Love it, great display, light, and super fast. Had an initial problem with Windows10 updating, but GEEK Squad stood by product and made sure I had a new, fully updated one. Very happy with it.

Since most computers don't have DVD drives anymore, I elected to buy one to back up sensitive personal files and photos as well as download music off CDs to my new computer. Works great and fast, glad I purchased it.

My laptop does not have a DVD drive so I needed and external one. It's simple and easy to use/install. Does what I need it to do. If you just need this for simple uploads this does the trick. Good price point as well.

Always had laptops with a dvd/cd drive. Got a nice deal on a Dell convertible laptop at BB. The only problem was it didn't have a cd drive. Bought this at a great price, problem solved. Has worked problem free so far.

New laptop, no DVD drive. Just perfect for installing certain programs that I needed for work that were not available for download from internet. It's fairly quiet and very easy to use. The price was a deal, as the drive was on sale.

So far, after a few months, this unit has served well the few times I have used it... being small, lightweight, quiet in operation, and (I believe) relatively fast as a burner. Now to see if it holds up well over time.

I bought this because I was having problems with the DVD drive in my computer. It works great and was very easy to use. I just plugged it in and it automatically installed. I paid $35 which is a great price for a DVD player/burner.

This works great with my iMac. Very simple USB hookup and quick setup. Was able to,transfer music from CD to iTunes. Only minor complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that it's a little noisy.

Bought an Asus 2 in 1 computer/tablet and didn't realize it didn't have a disk drive/burner. Bought this external drive to transfer programs and pictures and it works very well. Very pleased with this product.

The LG portable DVD drive is a great value for the money. It is slim and light. I am going to purchase another LG DVD drive for my sister since, she just brought a laptop for Christmas and it did not come with a DVD drive.

This drive is fast and has very quiet operation. The eject button is a bit recessed and the mechanism seems a bit clunky to eject a disk. The performance is very good making this an awesome buy

Imagine my horror and embarrassment when I tried to install new software on a custom built computer I had ordered for office and realized it had no dvd drive, fortunately this was cheap and easy to hook up.

I bought this because the newer laptops don't come with DVD drives most often. This one is inexpensive, easy to plug and use, and lightweight. Plus I love the LG brand.

I love how compact the device is. The device is great for my needs. I purchased a new Laptop and needed an external drive to load software via disk and to backup data to disk. I like that I can connect it to my TV as well.

it's the basic, bare bones external disk drive for your computer. doesn't need to be on a level surface, which i liked, and it works well. I liked that it was half the price as the apple version as well. A+
