Bought this since my laptop did not have the CD drive feature. Have used it with no issues. Slim and compact size, easy to use.

Because most laptops no longer have disc drives, I needed an easy plug-n-play drive to load and burn music and ocassionally install software. This is a great little drive for the price.

I use it with a Microsoft Surface Pro 4. True plug and play. I did not have to install the included software or drivers, which i prefer not to anyways. Works with Windows 10.

small and compact for travel. Have been using for amount a month and had no problems. The unit found its software and had no problem installing it. Started using within minutes.

I need a reader/writer for my new laptop, it does have a built in one like the good old days. This one is small, works great and was a very good price with the new laptop.

The only difference with this LG product verses the apple version is the color. It was very easy to add and use. I use the CD drive a lot and would recommend this less expensive version!

Easy to use, no setup required. Used it with my Macbook Air to transfer CD's to my iTunes account and to create a photo DVD. The drive is slightly noisy and feels cheap.

This works as expected and as the reviews stated. I have used it to create my recovery discs, music CDs and playback MP3s and movies with no problem. Can't beat the price or the size.

This DVD player is very good. Its lightwieght,compact and quiet. I can take it with me and use on the road with my laptop with no problems

Since my iBuyPower PC did not come with a drive, I bought this because it was the cheapest one available. It interfaces with the computer perfectly and works great. No issues at all.

This one was an easy set up, one of the less expensive ones, compatible with my Mac. And, since so many of the computers do not come with a DVD drive, this was necessary.

This little drive gets the job done in a compact light package. It's a steal for the price if you still have occasional use for physical drive. Highly recommend.

The USB DVD-Writer have worked well with every DVD or CD I inserted without any lag time or skipping. It is also detected in my BIOS. So far, no complaints

Haven'nt used it much but so far it's done the job. Of course it's not as fast as an internal player, the results are the same. I really bought it for its portability and to take it on the road and use with my laptlop (as you know most of today's laptops comes without DVD Drives). It's a little flimsy so I wouldn't advise dropping it. The USB cable that comes with it is rather short. I needed a longer cable to connect it to my Desktop. When I connected it to my laptop and desktop, it was instantly recognized by Windows 7 (although it does come with a disk containing drivers and various media software which I don't use).

We have used the USB DVD player as advertised attached to both an iMac and Surface .. It does the job and is lightweight.

I use my DVD drive with my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Worked instantly with no required software to be installed. No hassles or problems and is small enough to take with me.

Bought this to use with Surface Pro 3, and it works exactly as it should. Packs/travels easily, recognized immediately. Very satisfied!

Purchased a new laptop without DVD player and bought this to use when a DVD is needed. Lightweight and small - perfect for using while traveling. Works exactly as I wanted.

Works great so far! I've only used it to read discs, haven't burned any yet. Simple to use and it's small and lightweight so it doesn't take up hardly any space in my laptop case.
