Works Fine but You Need to Install Software

At first I didn't understand why it would not play my DVDs, but then I took it into the Geek Squad and they explained it to me. This product does not come with the software needed to play DVDs. I had to go online and install VLC (for free). After that it worked perfectly fine. Overall, worth it.

Can't complain for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.product works great and hasn't turned out any coasters in about 20 burns. seems a littly flimsy when using it, sometimes takes pushing the open button a couple of time to get tray to pop out, but considering the price I paid and the fact that it works really well, can't really complain too much.

As a Just in Case

I don't use them much but the occassional old school install, or burn pictures to share with a friend, or when my kids get those memories DVDs from their teachers at the end of the school year. its a necessity tucked away.
