Good drive burns CDs DVDs etc not blue ray though you need a hyper drive for that make sure it says blue ray on it if that's what you want but if not for the price this one is great

Great small drive and is easily portable. Good unit for the price and boots up quick. Used it to load multiple software programs and worked as expected.

Works very well and worth the $20 I paid for it. Runs a little noisy and transfers data at a fairly slow rate from what I was used to with my last device.

I visited the store with full intention to buy a different brand but it was out of stock. One of the associates pointed this item out to me and it was less than half the cost of what I intended to buy. One of those rare occasions where not having the item I wanted worked in my favor. Main reason for purchase is for use with my daughter's MacBook which did not come with an internal DVD player. It works great for her needs, is lightweight and small which is a plus for times when she needs to take it on the go.

The USB drive makes it easy to use programs and music that is CD or DVD based on a laptop that does not have an internal drive.. Reasonable price and good performance.

Does what I purchased it for. Small footprint, portable, and most importantly allows effortless data transfers with my Microsoft Surface which doesn't include a CD/DVD drive.

Needed a DVD drive to play training videos in my workshops using my Surface computer. Lightweight, easy to hook up, it works. Reasonable price for a quality item.

This disk drive is simple to use and works well. My laptop had no disk drive, but I still wanted to be able to upload things from disks. This LG drive works well.

Bought this drive to use with a laptop lacking a CD-rom drive. It installed in seconds, is very fast and quite. Quality frame and cd drawer. A nice product at a great price.

this is great. didn't realize most of the laptops don't have a CD/DVD burn in it, but I have been happy with this being portable, plus it makes my laptop lighter.

Looks flimsy but I'm able to carry it around in my bag no problem. No external power source needed a tad bit loud. But other then that works perfect

This is an excellent addition to anyone who owns a laptop w/o a DVD drive. It lets you watch DVDs on your laptop, which is a huge convenience. Highly recommended!

Bought this just to pull music from disks to add to my iTunes library. The speed is adequate for the cost. Excellent value for a very reasonable price.

If you need the drive for audio, try another device, this one is fast, light and quiet. For non-personal use it does a great professional job. Video plays well.

This is a fairly good external drive for the price. Since I don't use it as much, I didn't want to spend a lot. Also, it is compatible with MacBooks.
