This is a great inexpensive external drive........

So far very happy with drive -it's light weight!!!

It is of light weight construction and feels rather flimsy. However, I don't know that much more could be expected for the price. I bought it mainly to load music onto iTunes and it is sufficent for that. It works with my mac as it should.

It is nothing special. It does the job. I occasionally run into a situation where it would just be easier to set up something by popping in the CD. That is the only reason I bought it. It runs and it was inexpensive so I got what I wanted.

I am completely satisfied with this DVD writer. It does exactly what I need it to considering my new laptop did not have a built-in writer. Set-up was easy and for the cost, you can't beat it.

Wish the Surface notebook came with one built in.....this was best option so I could install programs I already owned. Surface froze sometimes when I was using this ,and this was a little tricky, but I don't see better option out there!

My internal DVD burner stopped working at a critical time, and since I don't do a lot of archiving, I didn't want to spend a lot to get my work done. This was a perfect product at the perfect time and saved the day. Glad to have gotten one at my local Best Buy the same day I found I needed it!

Can't beat the price for an external drive! My computer only takes CD's and a new program came on a DVR disk....what to do? Bought an LG Ultra Slim External Drive and my problem was solved! Far cheaper than having a DVD/DVR player included on the computer itself. Very happy with this product.

Simple. Plug it in and it works. WOW! What a nice thing these days. It is extremely quiet and I am sure will be helpful when I get a tablet ad travel. Light weight but seems to be solid.

Great disk drive, plugged it into my surface pro and it just worked. Was able to use it right out of the box without having to put a program on my PC. The price was very good for this item.

Excellent attachment as I didn't realize when I purchased my new computer that it didn't have a CD burner . Went to Best Buy and found one immediately and the price was great ! Works great!

It works great with my Toshiba laptop. I will make it clear that although it states it works with Mac's the software doesn't work on the Mac, I called the company and they clearly told me it won't work with a Mac so I purchased the Apple product made for my Mac, but this one works great with all other laptops.

My HP Envy does not contain a DVD drive but I needed one for old back up DVD/CDs and also to burn some CDs. This inexpensive external drive is just what I needed. Easy to use, quiet and fast.

This absolutelly perfect, i just got a new laptop and it didn't have the cd, even now we don't get to use too much cd's and dvd's but sometimes i need to recordma disc, this is perfect because i don't have to plug it onto a wall, just via usb!

This little LG DVD player/recorder works with both my desktop and laptop computers - no problems whatsoever. And the price was under $40 so it's not only easy to use, but easy on the wallet.

Works, plugged in to my new mac since they have no optical drives anymore and installed my programs. Easy peasy. This thing is thin and small and compact so easy storage. I like. The end.

I purchased the LG Drive for my Grandson to use with his MacBook Pro as I already used one in the past and loved the compact size and very easy to connect and use with about any computer.

Plug it in and it works. There is some software with it which I plan to get around to using when I have some time. It worked on the first shot and a preview of the software indicates it might have some nice features I can use. I've used this device on several computers and had no problems.

I purchased this for my dad's iMac which no longer comes with an external HD. It was basically plug and play, didn't need to install anything even though it came with an install disk. Works very nicely. Only thing is that it is noisier than expected and doesn't play "burned" CDs.
