Easy to use DVD/CD RW that doesn't break the bank

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thinking this would be needed to download Microsoft & security disc I felt this would serve my needs, however as it turned out both of the above mentioned items were digital downloads so actually this wasn't needed. Then I realized this will work great for playing movies and or music we have on hand, and indeed it does. Should I need to burn/write I'll be good to go there also. It's operation is quiet playback was indeed smooth, and small enough to fit nicely in the carrying case. Will probably purchase another for a family member.

Great value for what it all does
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though my laptop has a built-in drive, I wanted an external drive so that I would not have to use the laptop's drive which is hard to open. This does everything (CD/DVD RW), although I am only using the read functions. The only issue is that it is very thin (like the laptop's internal drive), so need to be careful in loading/unloading disks. Being thin is good for portability, but may not be as robust.
