My laptop didn't have a DVD drive

This helped a lot for I have a lot of CDs and DVDs that couldn't be used on my computer because I couldn't input the programs I purchased with my old computer. But now I am able to use them. This really came in handy for me I would recommend it to anyone that does not have an internal drive on the computer. Works well and I'm very satisfied with my purchase

Good low cost CD portable player

Acquired this unit, but had issues installing the software correctly (after loading unit would not play), so went to Geek Squad who helped to correct the installation issue. After, the unit played well as needed. Lightweight, slim and easy to carry with included case within computer case. Uses USB for power and playing, so no extra 'brick' to carry.

Opened the box, plugged this external DVD player into a USB port, and it just worked. Played a DVD with no issues - didn't even need the install disk. Now I can watch DVD's on my laptop again!.

Might as well Just buy a new laptop....but this little gem saved the day. It doesn't have a solid build, but I do everything on a table or desk, so no problem, just handle it with care. I've need using it for several months without any issues. Plug & play, super easy. No tech knowledge needed.
