Works well with 2015 Macbook Air

I returned the Superdrive because of the short cable and if the cable frays or fails the whole device us kaputski, shot, gonner... I also bought the Insignia 8" universal tablet padded case. Matched fit and light. Fits my motorcycle bag perfectly.

But most of us need a CD/DVD player from time to time, not necessarily for entertainment (although that, too!), but for installing new software or operating systems or reviewing photo albums or other important activity. This one adds a lot of versatility to my new laptop/tablet at very little cost...AND it is completely plug and play...I like that in a peripheral !!

It seems okay, but I question the unit's durability. The price was excellent compared to other units, but I wonder if the savings are worth the investment as the unit feels so flimsy. So far, so good, but it's not yet been two months.
