I got this cd-drive because my mac didn't have one, and I didn't want to spend so much on the apple one, so I decided to take a gamble and buy the less expensive one. This product works wonderfully. Gets the job done!!

Small, sleek, and easy to use. I plug it into my iMac when I need to use a disc and then take it off and put it away in a drawer when I don't need it. Works great and I thought it was priced very well.

My favorite feature is that it runs off the USB so I don't need another freak'n power cable just to burn a quick disc. Very slim and light so no biggie to leave in the laptop bag until the rare need arises. Great unit.

This disk drive works great for the Surface that I bought it for. Very convenient to use and fast.

Plugged it in to the computer usb and it worked as a reader. Installed the included software package and it played as a writer. Very satified with this purchase. I bought 2.

Having a notebook with no hard drive makes installing software a challenge. No more problems with this handy drive. It stores safely in a small drawer when not in us and is portable if I need to take it along with me.

I just bought a new Toshiba laptop for college. The laptop didn't have an optical drive so I purchased this one at BestBuy. It connected easily and works great with the laptop.

Very small lightweight . Fits in my computer bag easily . Very happy with the product and great price . Would give it 5 stars but the door opens very quickly and it almost throws the cd out when done .

I needed a DVD/CD reader to use in place of the broken one in my laptop. also, my grandson advised getting an external drive since many new computers don't have such a drive.

I wasn't to sure about this product as it was so reasonably priced. When I set it up and used it with my laptop it was so easy to use. I am not computer saavy so simple worked for me. I would recommend this product.

Decent DVD drive. It is a little noisy. It also requires use of LG drivers to be recognized by laptop. Now that many laptops are skipping on the optical drive, need a good external drive so this is a good option.

It's small, light, inexpensive, and works well. I haven't used it for any particularly demanding uses, but am very happy with it.

I bought this drive since it seems more and more computers are losing their optical drives. Plugged it into my new mac and with no drivers needed works great. Installing software and watching movies is a breeze.

Bought new laptop. Newer ones don't have CDROM slot and we're forced to buy a reader if we use them to burn CD's, install new equipment, etc. The device works fine. The fact we're forced to buy one is terrible!!!

I plugged this into my Mac mini and it did exactly what I intended for it do. Burned all my cd's to my I-tunes and also plays my videos that I had previously recorded on my JVC dvd recorder compatible with 80 mm dvd-r disc's.

I purchased this on the recommendation of an in store employee. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This works for my needs uploading software from a DVD. I haven't watched any moving with it yet.
