Easy to install on my Lenovo YOGA laptop. Very easy to use with my Windows 10 operating system. I have found no problems using this device. I basically use the DVD as a reader for education videos.

This drive is very fast and does its job well. I hooked it up to my iMac and it works like a native player.

Since a lot of new laptops don't include cd/dvd players i needed to get one. This one has worked flawless and i really do like it. it is very light and takes up hardly any room. It does everything you could ask for.

Although I am disappointed that new lap tops do not come with a DVD slot, I am happy for the External DVD Writer that I was able to purchase. Works great and I was able to load data into my new computer with ease.

New Dell laptop didn't come with CD/DVD drive. Don't use this as much as I thought I would but it definitely fills a need for those occasions when someone needs a file on CD or to rip music CDs.

I went to the store not knowing what product I needed to download cd's to my computer. The rep at Best Buy explained that if I wasn't going to use this for movies, that this ran at a perfect speed and he was right.

Needed a DVD to attach to my new HP Envy laptop. Got this product today, brought it home, attached to the laptop. It was plug and play. No issues thru installation and it works perfectly with my Windows 10 laptop.

Works very well. Since we still have DVD's and CD's we want to use, and our computer didn't come with that type of drive, this now makes the computer use complete. Thank you.

THis was the cheapest dvd drive I saw listed and needed one to add some cd and DVD based software to my mac mini. Works as it should with no additional power supply needed. No drivers need for the Mac either.

As newer, thinner computers don't have disk drives anymore, I needed an external disk for the many CD and DVD's I have. This inexpensive external drive works great, and I've experienced no problems whatsoever.

This DVD writer was perfect for my needs. It keeps my laptop bag light and only need to connect it when I need to burn some data to disc. Installation was a breeze and is compatible with all my Windows software.

Had to have one to load software from DVD on small laptop/tablet that doesn't have one. Bought at bundled price of $25. Very worthwhile because I don't need a DVD player/writer often. Prefer this to keep the weight down.

The computer I purchased did not have a cd drive so I use this when I need to copy or write to a cd. So far it has worked satisfactorily. It plugs in to a usb port when needed otherwise I keep it in a drawer.

Bought this when my Mac Mini DVD burner would not complete a burn due to internal errors. This unit gets power from the USB bus and has worked fine for six video DVDs. Case is lightweight which is not a problem. A great buy.

bought my newest laptop and due to its lightweight and slim design, it doesn't have a dvd/cd drive. thought I wouldn't need one. wrong. sales associate found this one for me for a cheap price, and it's very slim.

I bought this external hard drive because my computer didn’t have an internal cd/dvd player. This is a very light DVD player and it does what I need it to do. I’m pleased with my purchase.

After purchasing a brand new macbook Pro which does not come with a DVD drive I had to buy one separate. The LG writer does the job for me and is great for any laptop.
