Perfect for my needs, I have a laptop with no CD drive. I plugged it in ran the set a program and it worked right away. I now can burn CDs and also I can use it for TurboTax that I needed the drive for.

The accessory dvdrw is doing precisely what it was designed for. My brother in law, who's back in school for his masters and the device serves him well

Purchased this as my gaming laptop doesn't have a DVD drive at all. Plugged the drive in and windows 10 immediately recognized it and was ready for use. Loaded my game without any issues. Would buy again

This is a great DVD player for my Granddaughter's iMac. The DVD drive in her iMac seems to have stopped functioning, so I got her this DVD player. Easy to use!

This DVD player is very easy to use. I plugged it into a USB port on my computer and it was ready to go. I have played CDs with it and I have burned a few CDs with it so far. Very happy.

I purchased this DVD/CD to go with my computer as the computer does not have a built in one. It plugs into a USB port. I suggest getting one if your computer does not have one built in. Happy I got it.

I just bought this in case I needed it but most things can be purchased from the Apple store but it is nice and very inexpensive. As the old cliché says I rather have it and need it than to need it and not have it.

I bought this writer for business purposes and it has worked flawless and I will buy another one if the need arises as I do a lot of burning but not enough to warrant a commercial unit.

My new computer did not come with a DVD/CD drive so I purchased this external drive. I love that you can use it on any computer, laptop, etc..and it is small, light and easy to store or travel with.

I bought this external DVD/CD drive as an accessory for my Surface Pro 4 to expand its use as a computer. So far it seems to perform as expected.

This external device feels very flimsy and it is airplane engine loud, but it gets the job done. I simply needed something for the few CDs/DVDs I still have with data, and for that it served its purpose. I wouldn't get this if you need to use it in an office or open space with lots of people. But for home use, before the kids' bedtime, you can certainly do a lot worse.
