This worked well for what I needed it for. Had to download some software off of a disc and this did the trick. Have a burning project coming up and I hope that will do the trick as well.

I usually go through these externals like a hot knife through butter. It is great to finally have a strong, durable and dependable external hard drive that travels light and easy.

The main reason I bought it was for the Pandora app. I haven't tried anything else yet but I like it so far. The price was great. I got it for $10 cheaper than that "discount" store.

When I bought this, I had Windows 7, I, very shortly after, bought a new pc with Windows 10. The description on the box did not say specifically that it was compatible, but it did. Very pleased.

I purchased this for my IMac after the Best Buy employee had talked me out of buying the Apple one. By doing so I saved about 40 bucks. It was very easy to install and works wonderfully!

Bought this for my father, who's internal disc drive pooped on him. This writes faster then his previous one and is very slim so it goes anywhere great product. 10/10 would recommend

I purchased my Mac to take to class and wanted it as lite as I could get so did not get a built in CD drive. The portable CD/DVD is there when I need it, and goes where I want it to go.

This product is very handy to have if your laptop or any other device does not have a disc drive. It is quite simple to use and I am very pleased with it. It is perfect for my large CD collection.

My newest laptop did not come with optical drive so this product provides hardware to play and burn DVDs and CDs. Seems to work well with Windows media player in Windows 7 professional.

Got this for my wifes business set her up with a tablet so she could bring her work anywhere The drive works great as a carry ariund or for leaving at the office perfect for any case.

It’s a no brainer device...which is perfect for me. I use this for travel and it has weathered a lot of abuse. I’ve never had a problem with it and I’ve had it almost a year.

Perfect accessory to my Surface tablet PC. I use it for back-ups but mostly for playing tunes from my old CDs. It does everything well that I expect it to do.

The CD drive on my laptop quit working, this was only $20 and was easy to connect 2 USB drive, great for ripping CDs to my laptop for iTunes to put on my iPod.

Great for taking on the go. My drive in my laptop died and I decided price wise it was easier to buy the external. This model works perfectly and fits in my laptop bag easily with it's slim design

I've purchased 2 of these. They work just fine and do the job as described. The 1st one I bought was a lemon, but was easily replaced by Best Buy. The two we have now work great.

I didn't like the idea of having to buy and external drive for CDs but my new computer didn't have a CD/DVD drive. This external one is fine. It's very light and is very easy to use.

No problems at all. Very lightweight, yet sturdy. Does what it says it will do. Would give it 5 stars if the write speed was faster.

Good product, works well. A bit on the light and cheap feel, but external drives are no longer meant to be bulky I suppose, so that's probably a good thing.

Great external drive and easy to use. Very user friendly. I have been using it with my Apple MacBook Pro and it installed quickly and I was able to use it right away with no issues.

I already have a external DVD player but this one that I bought from Best Buy is much nicer. Very sturdy and performs flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
