Easy to use. Light weight and portable. It is actually a reader and writer which helped me a lot with software installs for my new laptop which does not have a DVD drive.

I am usually skeptical of low-priced products, but this CD/DVD reader/writer has been problem free. It hooked up to my notebook computer in just a few seconds. Great value from LG

Bought this for our laptop because it didn't have a CD-ROM drive. Super easy to use and we can put it away when it is not being used. Works great and the price was right.

Microsoft Surface is a great tablet, but unless you have a USB attachable CD players it's impossible to load programs used on a laptop. This CD player solves the problem.

This name certainly fits the product just short of it actually working the first time right outta the box. After three return trips to BB for one-on-one training on how this DVD was supposed to work, the constant trial & error was frustrating when the unit did not operate as instructed on our newly purchased HP All-in-One desktop. By happenstance, the internet was checked for updates on the computer AND writer only to find the missing link. Once downloaded, this DVD writer has worked great!

It is a smooth running dvd recorder for it's size. a great addition to my laptop. I record special events for my family,with this recorder I can copy these events.

It has been awhile since we have purchased a DVD player. I was surprised to find what I wanted in such a small package. It works flawlessly, and provides more space on the shelf.

Extremely easy to install and update. Program was done right so installing updates is a breeze. Would buy another one for my PS4 if and when Sony allows the use of external drives.

we bought the LG Ultra Slim Drive because the drive in our laptop died. plugged in the LG and it fired right up and has run smooth ever since. very quiet.
