I need the CD/DVD player to load software into my new laptop. It has worked beautifully. I even used it to create backups for the laptop. No problems at all.

I bought this for my daughter since new laptops no longer come with a DVD drive. She loves it. Very easy to use and easily fits into the laptop bag. Highly recommend.

Nowadays the laptop is not coming with optical drive, i actually purchased this along with my HP laptop and this is good at its price. Very thin and slim

drive performs as expected. To read a dvd with windows 10 you need to download one of the free programs available and the drive will then read it.

Very small profile that meet the needs of a cramped desk. So small, it sometimes gets lost in my paper work... Great product. Works as advertised.

Affordable and super easy to use. Bought it at same time as purchasing new iMac, imported 25 hours of CD's into itunes with no difficulty! highy recommend.

many new computers do not have disc drives now an for some who still watch a dvd or two this is perfect. seems these only last a year or so the the low price was great

This is an amazing product at the price that I purchased at. It was easy to use, portable, and the transfer and read rate was quick. Overall it was excellent.

my acer is light weight and easy to use had a bit of a problem with my router from bright house but got that streightened out other than that no major issues

I recently upgraded my laptop -- my second one with no built-in CD/DVD reader/writer. The LG Slim Portable DVD Writer is more than I ever expected I'd be able to get for the money. Got a great deal on it at Best Buy and it does everything I could possibly want one to do, plus! Installed flawlessly, runs great, and slim design stores easily with jewel cases (yes, I still have some of those!).

Easy to use external DVD drive. Not Blue Ray compatible. Good for watching old DVDs without digital copies or doing some quick burning of files.

Nice CD-DVD burner/player, its quiet and burns fast. It's very portable and light. Easy hook-up and it connected right away with no issues. Good buy indeed.
