Acquired to provide flexibility and access to my device that does not have CD / DVD capabilities. Set-up and use was straightforward and simple.

This is a good deal for the money. Plays good. I haven't had a chance to use the rewrite, but the player works well, and it's easy to use.

unfortunately most laptops do not come with a hard drive. Their way of making people buy one more accessory. this is a decent one for the price.

Got this external dvd/cd drive to use with my new Mac since it doesn't have a dad drive. Works good so far but is a bit noisy when in use.

Got our daughter a new laptop for christmas and seem not many of them come with a disk drive anymore. So this is a good drive and the price was good at $24.99

I was given a laptop without a DVD drive but had software to be loaded from a CD. This worked fine with a Mac. No problems at all and very fast.

I bought this for work. As a support tech I wanted my own CD/DVD RW ROM. and this one works great, I have not had any problems with it.

Easy to use. Just plug in and go. Works great. No skips or jumps. Easy to carry with you. Fits easy in a laptop bag without taking up too much room.

This disc drive works well. Occasionally runs really loud despite the advertisement of running quietly. Overall, it is a good disc drive.

My brother bought an all in one computer a d it didn't come with a cd rom. This plugged in and worked. So simple.

My husband kicked laptop off side of couch and broke cd/DVD door. Not worth cost to fix. Best Buy recommended this product. Works amazing. Thank you.

I purchased this to transfer pictures from my many CD's. I have a original Surface RT, I plugged it in and it worked great!. I haven't burned any discs yet.

Had to purchase something low cost that could do the job for work. Read several reviews. Love the LG products anyways so this was an easy purchase.

Purchase laptop for mom without hard drive and bought this which saved me $$$ compare to buying a laptop with a hard drive. #winning
