As the new iMac does not include a CD/DVD player, I had to buy an external unit. This LG is a rather flimsy piece of equipment that I fear will break every time I use it. However, it's done the job so far. Playback is fine, I've been able to burn music from iTunes, and the finished CDs sound fine. The unit also is quite noisy. But if you're just looking for a cheap, basic unit, it works.

I'm using this product and very much satisfied of this performance. It's really a good within this price. I strongly recommend.

After a month of use, this burner has done as advertised at a much lower price than some of it's competition. A good value!

This is my second External USB DVD±RW/CD. I have one for work and one for home. Works great with my laptop and easy to store.

Quiet, inexpensive, plug and play , tested with win 8.1 and win 10. Works perfectly. Installed operating system on two PCs and no problems

Not much to say. If you need an external drive, this product will not disappoint. Not fancy but does the job for a decent price.

Created boot dvds from iso files. I've used for about 15 boot dvds and no failures. So I would recommend to people.

We needed a way to take numerous discs of photos that have accumulated over the years and upload them onto our laptop. It works great!!!!

The drive works well for the low price paid. Much more convenient than replacing the dead internal drive in my old PC. Plus, I can attach it to my iMac as well. Also nice that you can detach it and throw it in a drawer when not needed. The only detractor is that due to the light weight, it walks across the desk when spinning at higher speeds.

The unit is very basic and easy to operate. A great unit for one that doesn't like a lot of bells and whistles.

It is easy to use, I have no complaints. It runs efficiently and adapts easily to any USB port.

My daughter uses this for college when she needs to put in a program for viewing. It is been great for travel and easy to use.

Easy to use and a true necesity as more amore laptops do not have a media player. Great value for the low Best Buy price!
