It's cool, but I can't turn it on because the power cable doesn't plugs the monitor. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but hopefully someone can help me

I was so excited when I took this out of the box. I plugged it in and when a white screen showed, I saw it. There was a very obvious yellow line on the left side of the screen. It is very obvious on a solid color screen, and less obvious during gameplay, but it’s always there. I am taking this back first thing in the morning, I’ve already ordered a replacement Samsung. LG is an outstanding company, and to see this coming from them was a huge shock.

What a difference this monitor made ! I had a 24 inch dell that was 1080 @60hz. I didnt think staying at 1080 would make any difference but i was definitely wrong. This monitor at 144hz with hdr, and free sync is like a dream come true. Colors are awesome. My RX580 linked to it right away and asked me if i wanted to enable free sync. War Zone is so much more fun now without having the screen tearing i was getting on my 60hz monitor. I'm assuming any games i play at this point will look and perform way better as a result. The only CON i have is that when plugging the power cable into the back of the monitor, i thought i was going to break it. At first i thought maybe i was given the wrong one and was debating returning it. I then just used some force and it finally seated properly. For this price point at these specs and performance, it's a win win. Buy it now while it's on sale. 4k gaming monitors are still too much money for my budget, so maybe when they come down in price in a year or 2, i will look at them. But for now, this meets all my expectations !!!

Great monitor. Makes gaming with my Xbox series x on this rather than a tv so much better. Don’t expect a 4K picture but the hdr gives a nice touch and will let you game with 60hz refresh rate but if you take hdr off you can utilize the 120hz refresh rate, which is better in my opinion. Overall if you want to game with a high refresh rate and sacrifice 4K picture I’d highly recommend, Even gaming with hdr activated and a 60hz is still great due to the 1ms response time. When they do make true 4K hdr 120hz monitor or TVs more common go that route even though it’ll be stupid expensive at first. Unless you got the funds, I’ll stick with this until those prices level out.

Not sure why but one of the HDMI ports allows for 4k 60hz hdr. I think LG might have taken a few extra panels from the 4k line and driver locked them to 1080p and forgot to patch one of the hdmi ports. I've tested with screen resolution and consoles and its reading out native 4k with hdr! I bought this on sale during a black Friday deal a few years ago and its been surprising me everyday in a good way.

I chose this as a good compromise of decent specs (refresh rate and response time) for the price. I haven't done much gaming but I am satisfied with the purchase. I have an older monitor and the difference between two monitors are quite apparent. This monitor just pops with vibrant color. No detectable motion artifacts. Controls are minimalist which is good and bad, joystick under the bottom bezel. Easy to use but it does take several steps to access some functions. I haven't had any issues with any defect. Overall, a good purchase for the price. Not the state of the art but really good value for the price.

So far so good Delivery was on time, no damages. Thats a big deal for me. Monitors had no dead pixels. LG is known for not having the greatest darks, especially black levels due to backlight being so bright, but its also an ips panel. I will admit that my old cheaper asus rog ips monitor that broke was ALOT more vibrant and better contrasts. But that monitor wasnt that much cheaper for 3 inches smaller. Docked a point not because its not great but because LG needs to fix their backlighting. Overall this monitor is great. Mounting it is thr easiest thing in the world other than getting that base off, no issues aftet mounting. Monitor isnt too heavy which is nice for just mobility and simply raising and lifting. Eh,nit much more to say on it. Its not mind blowing, but than agaib theres hundreds of 1080p ips 165hz panels out there nowadays and for the quality to cost, this monitor can definitely be a top competitor to the other top tier brands with this quality and consistentcy. The refresh rates and respinse times are shockingly stsying true to what they claim as well!
