After purchasing an Xbox Series X I wanted to take advantage of the fps. I was on the fence between this model and the 1440p version. Normally I would be telling everyone to stay at 24 in monitor if running 1080p. However, at 500 bucks for the LG 1440p 27in I decided to try this monitor.
It's been absolutely amazing. Color is 99%sRGB so the depth is brilliant.
I've had no noticable pixelization that I was worried about. The image has been superb.
Menu is odd but easy after a few go's at it.
Pulling 120 fps on Warzone and Destiny 2. Not sure fps on pubg but the quality has been good.
Running game mode 2, 120 hz, freesync standard, motion blur off, fast response mode.
The only con is there is no height adjustment and there are no speakers. Both which I was fine with, especially at $250.
If you're looking for a monitor to match for your console or pc and don't want to spend a bunch of money, this is your ticket!

I was a bit skeptical at first because there weren't many reviews but I took a gamble and was pleasantly surprised! The colors are accurate and vibrant. At higher refresh rates the monitor continues to output a smooth and clear image, which is the highest priority for me. (I recommend using the "Fast" setting under response time because anything above that it gets a bit blurry) Another concern I had was reading about 27 inches being too big for 1080p resolution and that things would come out looking blurry, I'm glad to say that personally I don't see any blurriness and I'm happy with the resolution of the screen overall.
The only thing I wish this monitor had was the ability for the base to extend up and down and more swivel, it can swivel up and down but not side to side. If you require a lot of adjustment in terms of viewing angles this monitor does not supply that, it feels pretty stiff. Also, If you have VERY limited desk space like me then the feet of the base take up a substantial amount space but I eventually made it work with my setup. I got this monitor on sale for around $250 and for that price I'd say it's really hard to argue with the quality and features this monitor has to offer.

I got a killer deal on this screen for Black Friday. I don’t know why there was a discount to begin with because this screen is worth every penny at full price. Sharp picture and great refresh rate!

I got this monitor as an upgrade to my Viewsonic that I've had for a few years for work and it's an outstanding piece of equippment for the price. If you want to do high end CG work then maybe you'd want something more hefty, but as an engineer it does what I need it to do without issue. Overall, no complaints and I'm getting a second to make my settup a 3 monitor.

This is a solid monitor from LG. For the casual or more committed pc gamer, the monitor will deliver a high quality experience. 144hz/1080p at a great price with must-have features like gsync and free sync. I’ve had the monitor for 2 years and it works like a charm. Did I mention it has two gamer presets with the ability to add a crosshair.

Refresh rate great as well as the colors displayed has multiple screen presets for vibrance, brightness etc. Takes about a second for screen to boot compared to my previous monitor but thats nothing to really complain about.

This is my first gaming monitor and I’m not disappointed with the performance. Everything is fine except for the fact that the stand makes the whole monitor slanted and it bothers me. Also you cannot adjust the stand’s height.

This is my first real monitor after being on TVs and honestly its everything I want and more. 27 inches is more than enough and with the bezel being so minimal the screen really is huge. The color customization is solid for what your paying for and two hdmi cables in the back is convenient instead of buying a switcher.

Great monitor, very nice and crisp picture. Realty awesome for gaming on the ps5 with the 120 refresh rate and the 1ms response rate. Better gaming experience overall, way bette me than a regular 4K tv used as a monitor before especially with the input lag

We have two smaller LG monitors that we love, so when it came to upgrade in size this was a no-brainer. Size is great for a two monitor setup. Beautiful picture and I like the style of the menu when selecting an input or adjusting settings.

You can't really beat the price of this one! The picture quality is excellent, and it's the perfect size for most setups. My only complaint is that you can't adjust height, but I knew that when I bought it.

I bought this monitor for my PS5, it supports 120hz which is what i was mainly looking for, its a decent monitor and id recommend it. I got it for $200 so at that price it's a decent monitor. The quality is pretty good too, nice and heavy and doesnt feel cheap. If you decide to buy it wait for a good sale, because this shouldn't be a $300 monitor.

Best monitor I have ever owned! The colors are amazing with great darks/blacks. No back light bleeding what so ever. For $250 this is 100% worth it. This “lower end” LG monitor sets the bar for LG and their ultra gear series. Great monitor

This is a great monitor for the XSX or PS5. I didn't have an issue the color settings out of the box, but I'm sure some will need to do some calibrations for their personal preferences. The picture for me was great and having HDR was an extreme plus.
It's very well built and with a premium finish. The back is a nice addition if you want to have the back in area where it can be seen. Like others have said the stand does not allow for swivel (the model that ends in 50 does). It also does not have built in speakers but you can connect headphones or and external audio source.
The only things that I wish were different were the inputs being built into the underside of the monitor. I feel like the weight of the cables will eventually damage the ports. The power cable is way too short as well, but that's a design flaw on all new monitors of this caliber. Last thing is if you use a VESA mount, there's a part that connects to the legs that will still be exposed. It's not a big deal but it does take away from the asthetic of the back.
Even though it a has a couple of shortcomings its still a great monitor, especially if you can get it on sale.

If you are used to an older and smaller monitor it's definitely a change but one you'll never regret. This monitor is so amazing it'll make you regret not upgrading sooner. Using this along with my 3070 for super smooth gaming

I got his screen to give myself a larger screen to work on. It is plugged into my MSI GE66 Raider via Displayport (it is the only way to get G-Sync to work). The onboard menu allows for fine tuning of refresh, color, brightness, and other settings. I specifically got this screen because it is wall mountable (VESA 100x100). In my opinion LG makes some of the best panels on the market. Also a technical subjective point, G-Sync is a superior technology over Free Sync. Lastly, this monitor had HDR which for gaming dances circles around 4k. The matte finish reduces reflections and glare and reduce eye fatigue.

I’ve been using this monitor strictly for next gen console gaming and it’s probably the best I have used. The HDR content is stellar, but depending on the lighting in the room, you may have to adjust the brightness because the contrast is vivid. Colors pop and the blacks are really dark because of the LED technology. I haven’t had it very long but no problems so far.
