Boxed well, caught it on sale for $660, simple to set up. Slick an Slim design. Went from the 165hz Ultragear 27inch to this OLED monitor. Absolutely love it.

It’s a wonderful panel, but the brightness leaves a little bit to be desired and I don’t know that I would pay above $600 for one. Still very happy with it.

Loving this for PS5, 1440p is a good resolutuon and the 120 Hz has been wonderful for Call of Duty. This is the first OLED I have owned and it is absolutely worth the price!

Look guys by all means the vivid colors and deep blacks on this monitor create a stunning visual experience, making images appear incredibly lifelike. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a monitor that delivers both realism and customization. And oh my good the resolution and the 240hz makes it a big win. Worth the money. And one thing for you guys out there the brightness is not that bright but honestly the visuals makes up for it

One of the only monitors to produce pure black levels while maintaining a scene with color accuracy to my standards. Thin Bezel with a substantial stand and plenty of inputs as well as outputs. The stand is multi-directional allowing different positions for landscape or portrait viewing as well as different rotation degrees in-between. The remote is handy for lazy people like me. Also, their software suite is significant for a monitor, giving a calibration as well as on board settings application. I consider this a solid buy for anyone with a keen eye for detail or gamers who want the best available.

First of all, this monitor is GREAT but it takes work. Do not expect this monitor to be ready to go and optimal out of the box. First, you need to update the firmware (it will take about an hour) then you need to calibrate the HDR in your software, adjust the color in your graphics card, and finally adjust the settings on the monitor itself. After all of this is done you might run into an issue where some games detect the monitor as 4k if you're using an HDMI instead of the display port. After figuring out and adjusting ALL OF THIS...then this monitor turns into the greatest thing I have ever laid my eyes on. All of the hurdles are the only reason this isn't a 5-star review but if you don't mind any of that please just make one last consideration, the lighting in your room. This monitor is not dark by any means but it also is not significantly bright either, so if you use this monitor in a very well-lit room you might have some issues, but if your room is normally lit or dimly lit you will be more than fine. All in all this monitor is extremely sharp, fast, minimally beautiful on a desk, and an upgrade from any other 1440p monitor on the market. The HDMI 2.1 is a MUST-have for ps5 and Xbox gamers. The Asus is another good option (No HDMI 2.1) but please consider that LG updated its warranty to include burn-in protection for 2 years which is very important for OLED. This monitor is not cheap, but if you can snag it for $800 and below with a price match like I did you will feel like the purchase is justified. Note: take a look at the photo I included. The LG oled is horizontal and the verticle screen is the LG ultra gear nano 27GP83B-B. The contrast is night and day between the two.

Best Buy is my favorite destination, but you never choose me as a winner for any gift card! You know that you have good products. I like that you can control this monitor with remote, the monitor I exchanged for this didn’t have remote. I notice that the image quality is better. When I connected my speaker to the monitor the sound didn’t work which is why I am giving 4 stars.

This monitor was a great buy. Its 240hz OLED and looks beautiful. It comes with a remote and i recommend using it. The remote allows the user to navigate through the menus with ease like a TV. I used the reader mode a lot too. The monitor supports VESA and you can wall mount it. Look in the eManual to found the mount name. The only downside is bright rooms and this OLED panel. You may want to go with and IPS or brighter display.

My overall experience with this monitor is great. Amazing response times and color. Brightness lacks compared to my IPS next to it but it looks so much better once you get use to it its actually not bad and i play in a semi lit room. Bought it on sale which makes this an awesome buy. I tried doing the firmware update but said it was already up to date so I guess they are doing them at the factory now. I’m not a curved monitor guy so the Alienware was a no for me.

Lost my review before finishing so keeping it short and sweet this time. Matte coating causes grainy effect and kills image quality. Should be an option to buy either matte or glossy depending on needs. Brightness is an issue and needs to be addressed. CPC setting causes a vignette effect. Whether LG is to blame or Xbox I'm not happy being forced back into 8 bit color when using the native 1440p resolution. Check pictures for proof of this. I've tried everything and the Xbox will lead you to believe you are successfully getting 10 bit however this is NOT the case. Also worth noting that when using the native 1440p resolution the monitor is in HDMI 2.0 mode instead of 2.1 The 4k mode does work well and gives a sharp looking image while also allowing HDR to be used on Xbox. However using HDR will keep you from being able to use RGB Full color range and have you stuck on Limited range. So for console guys just know that you can't get the absolute most out of this monitor due to this.

I love this monitor the best, my previous one made my eyes hurt and i made a choice of upgrading to this one this year. Colors are about 98% accurate and it was super easy to set up.

This is an incredible monitor. It had a few bugs when it first launched including automatically being set to 4K 120 FPS when certain games launched in full screen but issues like that have been fixed for months. If you buy this monitor and bump into that issue, just download the firmware update from LG's website. The monitor itself visually isn't that impressive out of the box but the settings are pretty flexible and it allows you to tweak the colors and brightness around so you can very easily get the color palette that you're looking for. I've since made my colors more vivid and it is easily the best monitor I've ever used. The OLED technology especially helps with that as it makes the colors completely consistent and the black points are perfect. The quickness of the response time on this monitor is incredible and it makes me feel like I'm cheating in some of the games that I'm playing. The higher resolution combined with it being OLED maximizes details that you could far less easily see with other monitors and that is huge for FPS games. The thing also looks incredible sleek with the thin bezels. If you have the patience to spend a little bit of time adjusting the settings to your liking and potentially downloading an extra update for the monitor (assuming you get one that was manufactured before the bug fixes), then this is absolutely one of the best monitors you could possibly buy right now.

Absolutely Love it! It has been so great gaming on this monitor! If you are all about Immersion and clarity this monitor is what you want! I’ve had it for roughly two months now and have had no issues , I was skeptical at first reading other comments about it not be bright enough and I disagree with that the monitor is plenty bright! Especially if your like me and game in the dark then I have to turn it down some honestly but in a lit room yes you need it up at 100% it’s all preference I guess. Compared to my other LG GL something or another 1440p monitor it just wipes it away and that was not a cheap one either I mean It was half the cost but you can tell a major difference the contrast in the new LG is just stunning. Highly recommend if you have a great system to run it with. No matter what I say I can’t fully describe it you’ll just have to get one!

Montior is amaizng for gaming and content consumption. The colors are so vibrant and and the motion is crystal clear. It definitely doesnt get the brightest, however most users will probably be using it in a bedroom. On sale this was a no brainer and I highly recommend Bestbuy over Amazon, at least they take care of their customers.

The colors are really vivid and run beautifully and the screen is able to keep up with my PC easily. However the only complaint I have is the options are confusing to use and the one button they have for everything if you lose the remote is also annoying to use as well. But besides that the performance is great.

was skeptical after so many negative reviews but I love it I personally think its plenty bright I was gaming on my lg c1 till I got this and haven't gamed on the c1 since. I also never notice the matte coating unless surfing the web but it doesn't bother me (to each their own)

Great monitor so far, GSP my G7 4k Samsung which i liked. Make sure to do the firmware update on this monitor. Download oncreen keyboard from their website. Have the usb wire plugged in. It will prompt for install, warning jt takes 3 to 4 hours. Adaptive sycn on will nake the screen flicker, its a bug. Power savings off makes screen brighter. Love it so far

This Monitor is the best! The graphics are smooth and crisp. I was never a fan of gaming monitors because of how dim the colors were on other monitors, but this LG UltraGear OLED displays bright colors and is nothing but dim. Highly recommend. Life is good!
