Great picture and refresh rate. I got it on sale for cheaper than the 27 inch so it was definitely worth the price. No issues with it yet in the first couple months.

I’ve been using the ROG SWIFT PG27UQ since October 2019. It’s a great 4k gaming monitor. As of late the fan in the monitor started becoming loud and annoying. Even when the monitor is off I could hear it. Was browsing monitors during Memorial Day and saw this one. Been wanting to try a 32 inch monitor for some years now and I was blown away by the size! I wanted a 4k 32 inch but they are too expensive so I gambled with this 2k one and I really enjoy it! I ended up getting another one. As a pc gamer I’m used to having dual monitors. They both have slight backlight bleed but isn’t major enough for a replacement. The colors are great! Right out of the box it’s excellent! The only thing I don’t like is that there’s no swivel with the stand. I only did this review to try and win that $400 gift card! HAHA!

Viewing experience is amazing. Glad I went with the 32 over the 27, not as oversized on my desk as I thought it would be - extra viewing space is the way to go, especially since it's 1440 (2k). Flawless for gaming with many gaming related screen adjustments that really work. Buttery smooth. Great for post processing photos - High quality panel. IPS provides amazing color palette. For work related tasks - plenty of space for viewing and LG's OnScreen Control let's you control and format the screen layout. Single toggle "joystick" to access controls (apart from using the app) is conveniently located in center of base of screen. This screen can get really bright if that's what you need as well. Lack of usb not a problem since my keyboard has usb pass-thru. Looks great on the desk and minimalistic base makes for easier placement without displacing everything on your desk. Again - this monitor is an amazing display - everything looks over the top amazing on it and excels for workspace, gaming and photo/video post processing.

Switching over from my trusty old 60hz Acer IPS display was difficult. Finding an IPS display with a high refresh rate and 2k resolution, your options can be limited, especially at 32" I took a chance on this monitor, and so far it's incredible, and while my old monitor still has the benefit of slightly better blacks, everything else is superior here. The 165hz is great if you have games that can take advantage of it (Doom 2016, for example, is so good at 165hz), but G-sync fills in the gap, so every game feels smoother than it otherwise would. Even sub 60 FPS feel so much less noticeable on a monitor like this. Colors are bright and punchy, on the verge of being overkill on default settings, but of course you can adjust to your preference, and it covers a wide color space. The 2k native res makes everything look clean, with no screen door or aliasing for everyday content outside of gaming, and the stand seems sturdy, and allows for height adjustment, which my previous one didn't. My biggest, and really only, major complaint is that the backlight does seem to bleed a lot, so deep black/pure white can show a bit of variance. Mine has no noticeable dead pixels.

a dependable choice for those looking for a larger display. The 32-inch size is great, providing ample screen real estate for multitasking or a more relaxed gaming view. The Nano IPS panel delivers good color quality—it's noticeably vibrant and offers consistent picture quality from various viewing angles. It's certainly bright enough for most environments. For gaming, the performance is perfectly capable. The 1ms response time and high refresh rate ensure a smooth experience, and it plays well with NVIDIA GPUs thanks to G-SYNC compatibility. While the HDR feature isn't a highlight, as is common in this price range, the overall package offers a very good mix of size, clarity, and speed for a competitive price. It’s a respectable upgrade.

Best monitor ever. Love size, look, colors, brightness is perfect for me, and the response time n refresh rate are amazing. Even though ps5 doesnt support 1440p the monitor gives it way better than 1080p thats for sure resolution was how the ps5 is on my 4k tv. Also having both gsynch and amd free sync both is nice.

This LG 32-inch Nano IPS 1440p gaming monitor offers a bright, vibrant picture with excellent color accuracy and sharp detail. For the price, it delivers a fantastic experience—especially for fast-paced gaming and general use. While it’s not quite on par with OLED in terms of contrast and black levels, you’d have to spend significantly more for an OLED panel. Unfortunately, I did run into a couple of issues over time. I noticed my first dead pixel around the three-month mark, and another appeared around nine months in. It’s still usable, but a bit disappointing in terms of long-term quality. Moving forward, I’ll probably go with an OLED gaming monitor from ASUS or MSI, even though LG and Samsung are behind many of the OLED panels anyway. Overall, this is a solid mid-range choice, but not perfect.

First off: the first monitor i purchased and picked up from the store was defective. i brought it home, set it up, plugged it in, and immediately heard an electronic popping noise, leading to the monitor never turning on. had to go back and replace it. 2nd item worked fine. has had no issues. quality of the display is lovely. the HDR colors are amazing, especially on games like elden ring!

I recently purchased the LG UltraGear 32" Nano IPS QHD G-SYNC Compatible Monitor with HDR, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and sharp details that make gaming and multimedia a joy to experience. The G-SYNC compatibility ensures smooth gameplay, and the HDR support truly brings content to life. The 32-inch screen size is perfect for immersive gaming sessions, and the build quality is top-notch. I couldn't be happier with this monitor – it's a fantastic addition to my setup, and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a premium display.

Its not much better than my first 1440p Dell S2417DG. Although its bigger and the colors due seem more vibrant, I have yet to find a six color calibration for this monitor. So just off size and price ($400 on sale) I got what I wanted. Plus no dead pixels. Two draw backs (possibly three): 1. The ports are facing the wall instead of down. Its beyond me how this hasnt become standard yet. 2. The power plug is proprietary to LG and not standard. This may prove difficult to replace if it ever fails. 3. May not concern some, but its a big monitor and I was inclined to hang it from my wall, so as not to be taking up so much space on my desk. That being said, the particular swivel mount I got, blocked the ports. (BestBuy Essentials 19-50). It seems to be very similar, if not the exact same panel as the 32GP850B. The only difference I can seem to find is the contrast is higher on the 850 and can be overclocked to 180hz. If youre looking for a 32" 1440p, this monitor cant be beat at a discount for $400.

Good monitor. Use a Displayport cable!

Use a Displayport Cable to get the most performance out of this monitor! The LG 32GP83B-B is decent for PC gaming. It provides a good pure gaming feel as it has a 165Hz native refresh rate that you can overclock to 180Hz, and it also has VRR support to reduce screen tearing. Its input lag is low for a responsive feel, and motion is also sharp, thanks to its fast response time. However, it has limited picture quality as blacks look gray in the dark, it doesn't have local dimming, and highlights don't pop in HDR either.

Plus I did the VA vs IPS PANEL comparisons. Most swayed towards the IPS for color accuracy but VA had better contrast (darks). Wily oh I agreed with. But I’ve wanted the best colors to go with my HDR gaming with Ray Tracing. This panel of nano ips technology and wow is it truly beautiful. Crispy colors and very nice brightness at 350 nits. I wish it was at least 400nits vesa hdr 400 certified but that’s fine. The contrast is low at 1000to1 but it’s fine. Now for the response time rated at 1 ms GTG. I’m assuming that’s on the super fast mode. But either way while playing (my main game) his monitor helps me game better. See things farther away and react quicker down sites. Controls are simple and the OSD looks and works great. Simple to navigate. This does come with display port 1.4 and I believe the lg and included cable is rated at 1.4 spec. . Honestly the price is higher than I would normally like to spend. But for the quality and specs. I’m happy I did.

If you're looking for a good quality 1440p monitor and don't have the money for something bigger, this thing is great. It's been my main monitor for 3 years now and does everything I want except no in built speakers but that's not standard.

This monitor is everything I hoped for and gets my highest rating in life...EPIC! I bought it on sale, but it's totally worth paying the full price for. It gives me plenty of space to work with, my games are beautiful, and watching streaming videos on it is a joy as well. I actually plan on buying another one in the future for my 2nd PC build for my family to use. I also have the 27" version of this same screen that is my 2nd screen that sits to the right of this one. Works flawlessly.
