I love my LG Monitor. The 32" HDR screen makes everything appear sharp and vivid. I use the screen when using my other Mac Mini or my Fourth Generation i-Pad. The monitor comes with two types of HDMI cables, and inputs for headphones. I use an Apple adapter when connecting my devices to the monitor, and I've yet to experience any technical issues regarding use. I picked this monitor specifically because it is nearly impossible for a cat to knock this item over. The base is very wide, the stand thick and solid, and when all components are assembled, it's essentially cat-proof. This LG monitor is quite expensive when compared to similar monitors. That's why I purchased a 4-year protection plan, which considering the price of the monitor, I believe that it is a wise investment. Hopefully, my cats will never find a way to tip this monitor over, so I'll never have to rely on the purchased protection. I highly recommend this device if you're looking for a rugged, sturdy, heavy, relatively immovable monitor that produces a crisp image every time. Note: When I tried to watch a Youtube video while using my monitor, I could not sync the sound with the video. I was using my i-Pad's Bluetooth function to play my Sharp stereo shelf system, but when I did, my monitor went dark. I suspect that I need to run an audio jack from my computer to the monitor, then try using Bluetooth for the sound. Otherwise, I may need to purchase a separate small speaker set for the monitor itself.

I was in the market for an ips, 1440p, high refresh rate monitor for gaming. I initially bought an MSI mag274qrf‑qd. However, that monitor had a stuck pixel in the middle of the screen, distracting backlight bleed even during gaming, but ips glow wasn’t that bad. So I returned that monitor, and avoided it because of the quality control issues. So then a bought a ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQ. However, I found a cluster of three stuck pixels towards the left side of the screen (two very tiny ones around a bigger one), ips glow was significantly more worse on this rog strix unit than the MSI one, but backlight bleed wasn’t that bad on this rog strix unit and was not distracting like the MSI one. So I returned this rog strix monitor. A lot of this has to do with the panel lottery, and I’m not having good luck. I avoided asus and MSi becuase of their poor quality control, I turned to LG once again. I have an LG32GK650F, I thought the other two monitors would be the best at this price point until I heard of LG 32GP83B, which is almost the same as the LG32GP850. I bought this monitor, and was very happy to see the least IPS glow and least backlight bleed compared to both the MSI and ASUS ROG monitor that i mentioned earlier. And the best part? This unit has no stuck or deadpixels. Colors are great, if not better than the other two monitors (MSI monitor was very over saturated, cant do much to change that). And this has monitor had displayport 1.4, which allows me to run 10bit at 165hz, though I don't think its true 10bit. Overall, LG delivers much needed quality control and I will stand by their monitors. P.S. they shipped this item using only the Retail box, but my retail box was in good condition, so no worries for me.

Not five stars cause it aint the best, but it is still impressive. The 165hz looks soo smooth even compared to 144hz. The colors and contrast will have you staring at eye-candy while gaming or watching very high def videos. The viewing angles are poor, dark scenes reveal a very unpleasant-looking monitor screen. Which seems to be easy to not see once you have some content playing. Overall i am pleased with the monitor, just dont think i would choose this over other higher end monitors when spending around that much money. Playing on a flat panel is a huge change from curved, and i dont think i would choose to game on a flat panel instead of a curved one.

Loves this monitor right out of the box. Needed little adjusting. The colors look great and even in a dark room has minimal bleeding on dark scenes. Very happy with my purchase. Stand is nice and sturdy even though I wish it was a little more adjustable

So far this monitor has been simply wonderful! I waited a couple months after owning it to leave a review. The colors really pop after minor adjustments/fine tuning. I use it with my PC, PS5, Series X and it has performed admirably! Backlight bleed is minimal compared to my previous monitor and it’s super crisp. Tempted to buy another to have dual screens.. I been thoroughly enjoying this monitor. LG did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!

I upgraded from a 27" Acer Predator 4k 60hz (one of the very early ones, and I am still using it as a second monitor) to this 32" LG UltraGear 2k 165hz. Originally I was going to get a Curved 32 inch 2k VA type monitor, but I had a feeling I may not like them after being on an IPS for so many years. And sure enough, the VA I got may have been 100 cheaper but does not compare; This has higher DP, Faster Refresh rate, G/Free sync 'compatible' not all features, 1ms Grey to Grey, and where I thought I liked the curved screen, I was wrong, I much prefer this Flat one especially with my 27in sitting next to it giving me extra Desktop Real estate. The color, contrast and everything are not only better than the Curved VA I had originally bought, later returned, but overall it looks better than my 27in 4k Acer Predator. On the LG the webpage looks white, on the Acer it looks a touch yellowish, this could be age or it is the LG Nano tech working, or both, The LG looked better than the Dell VA as well in most respects. Also improved my FPS playing whereas the curved seemed to hinder it. No Contest, If your on the Bench regarding getting a Curved vs Flat, VA vs IPS, spending 700 for Samsung G7 with massive curve... Make sure you get this too and try them side by side, than return the looser; You may realize what I did, This Monitor Rules!

32 inches of 2k res at 165hz and Nano IPS 1ms(gtg) ... At this price point is there anything else to say? I bought this as a secondary monitor and it has become my main for the past 2 months or so. I would highly recommend LGs ultragear series of monitors as a whole. I've had 3 now and have loved each one. None of the monitors gave me problems I just upgraded to bigger sizes.

Hands down the best monitor I’ve ever owned. Best balance of current desirable specs and price. With the new 4K/HDR/high refresh rate monitors out there costing thousands of dollars, I was so glad I found this thing. Fantastic picture. Sharper, brighter, and better colors than my 4K 32” IPS monitor that sits right next to it. Difference is very obvious. Might have to get another one!

This monitor has been a real pleasure to use. The colors are fantastic, and the combination of 2k definition, 165hz refresh, and 1ms response time make it perfect for gaming, and great for content creation or various other forms of media consumption. Using the controls to alter any settings with the monitor is super simple, and I'm a huge fan of the stand that this monitor comes with. It's incredibly stable and even when I bump my desk on occasion, the monitor panel won't wobble or change from the elevation I set it at. Considering the simplicity of the assembly for the base, this was a very welcome surprise. My particular monitor came with no flaws at all with pixels or damage, and I've noticed no smearing, ghosting, or any sort of halo effects in dark scenes. HDR mode is nice, though I tend not to use it personally. I'm also very pleased with the amount of contrast that this monitor can provide despite being an IPS panel. Overall, this is an amazing monitor for the price, especially when stacked up against the competition.

A little background first. I am a digital artist that also likes to play games (both console and PC but more on that) Pros: -The color accuracy out of the box is pretty good. I work mostly in the sRGB range and it performs beautifully. -I may be lucky but there is no IPS edge bleeding, which is a first for me. -165Hz & G-sync is great Cons: -No speakers? -Not a ton of connections (just 2x HDMI 2.0 1X DP 1.4) Special Mention: -Many will prefer 4K at 32" , I'm not one of them, but this is a preference so wont knock it. -This display actually does 4K60 HDR through the HDMI. Its not advertised anywhere and even seems to be 4:4:4. I currently have my PS5 connected and displays great with no noticeable blur or ghosting.

A really solid mid range monitor. at 100 brightness it's like looking into the sun, I stick to around65-70 and it still gives me a headache after a while. But HDR isn't as great, it gets dim in some areas. I picked it up for $350, and I'd recommend it at that price. It's a great stepping stone between a beginner build and a high-end The plugins on the back really set this monitor apart for me though. I've never had a monitor that is so easy to plug in. Just a plug on the back, no weird doors or hanger doohickeys. My other monitor makes the cable go up through some hole just to feed back into a snake formation and it's just too much. This is solid for that.

I usually buy 27” monitors but I wanted to try the 32” for once and it feels good so far. The colors on the display are amazing, looks smooth, the response time feels great. The mount is slightly bigger than I’d like it to be but I like the height adjustment on it. Been having it for quite a while now and have had no issues with it. Definitely worth!

Wow! I’ve had many good monitors, but this one is the best, to date. It’s bright and crisp, the colors look great, and it is smooth. Many monitors I see are too punchy with the colors. I like bright colors, but I like accuracy more. This screen has just the right mix, which tends toward accuracy. It features HDR which makes games and some videos look great. This screen is bright! The refresh rate is no joke. Games run in silky smooth motion. No more blur, tearing, or jerking. The stand is HUGE but the unit is stupid easy to assemble. Three pieces snap together…done! The monitor can adjust it height and change to portrait orientation! There is no speaker, which I prefer. It connects via HDMI or Display Port. I am quite happy with my decision to step up to 32”. I’m also happy that this monitor lived up to the reviews I watched on YT. Despite its size, it is tack sharp. Get this!
