I thought this was my dream monitor… it was close to it I just didn’t like the super deep curve other than that this monitor is super immersive! Colors are great! The only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because of the curve. I’d recommend this monitor for sure!

I do alot of editing work and sometimes gaming, this is the BEST monitor I have ever edited and on. The OLED screen and refresh rate makes it a smooth choice.

As a creative I’ve really found this monitor to increase my workflow specifically within windows. It’s been amazing no matter what I am using it for, DAW applications, adobe illustrator, photoshop, 3d modeling with blender and games! Colors look amazing and the 240hz really makes the fluidity of it that much better. A lot of reviews complain that it’s 1440p vertical but I have no complaints as everything looks amazing at the viewing distance and angle that I use it at. The curve is almost unnoticeable as well and very fun full screen for a lot of games like MW2, gta, rdr2.

In my opinion, hands down the best monitor on the market. Gorgeous colors, inky blacks, bright whites, an amazing curve. There is no one place I can think of where this monitor needs improvement, other than the price. (Speaking of, i bought it open box. It came in the original packaging, with the plastic seals still on the back of the monitor and the remote. Highly recommend.)

You will NEVER go back to a traditional monitor or dual monitor setup once you purchase this. It’s perfect for gaming and working. Approximately 90% of titles seamlessly adapt to the 21:9 aspect ratio, offering an immersive and expansive view. For the occasional game that doesn’t natively support this format, I found that community mods are available. I also discovered a Chrome extension that intelligently crops and removes black bars, ensuring that every online video is enjoyed to its fullest on this massive display. My only critique lies in the monitor’s brightness. Despite being an OLED, it doesn’t reach the luminance levels you’d expect from a traditional OLED TV. The monitor also has a matte finish. While this does reduce glare and reflections, it’s an unusual choice for an OLED where a glossy finish typically accentuates color vibrancy and contrast. Overall this monitor is perfect for both gaming and multimedia, with a lot of compatibility features. While it has areas for improvement, specifically the brightness and finish, I am optimistic about future iterations. A model offering 4k resolution with a glossy finish at 240Hz would be perfect!

This monitor is amazing, i pick it over the alienware curved monitor. Used to game on a acer predator 32” and upgraded to this one, and after trying this monitor theres just no going back its any gamers must have. Go it when it was on sale for 1299, would i pay 1699 for it? My answer is if i had the xtra cash and cant wait for it to go on sale than yes definitely…

Switched out my 34inch ultra wide for this oled LG model and JEBUS CRISIS its the best quality and experience ive had gaming not just in single player gamez like cyberpunk with my RTX turned on but also while competing online playing MW3 or Apex. Watchinh movies on my ps5 is amazing with the ability to be able to split my monitor in half to display ps5 and my oc at once is awsome and makes streaming a blast.

I was concerned with some reviews talking about how bad the fonts are, but I don't really any issues with the fonts. On occasion I can see some fonts are not very clear, but that is very rare. I thought 45" and would be too big, but it's perfect! I sit about 2.5 to 3 feet from screen and it's very immersive. Images look great. Very happy with the purchase.

I use this monitor for sim racing. It's ridiculous how immersive it makes it. I feel like my entire field of view it filled with the screen and allows me to feel more like I'm in the race. Honestly wish the resolution was 4k like my 48" ultragear OLED but the 1440 UW helps keep frames high and consistent. Not that my 4090 couldn't handle it. Excellent monitor, definitely recommend

I really wanted to love this monitor. I loved the size, the curve, the speed and that it's OLED. I used it extensively for a week but ultimately had to return it. My main gripe with it; resolution and color accuracy. If you are purchasing for gaming and nothing else, and I mean nothing else... no web browsing, casual photo editing or anything else, this monitor is not for you. The PPI really is bad. It's tolerable if you are gaming only, but even then it's quite noticeable. It should be a minimum of 110 PPI for a monitor of this size. The biggest issue when gaming is, when trying to identify objects/enemies rendered in the distance or very small, it's very difficult to clearly see them. The resolution just isn't good enough. As for the color accuracy, it's way off out of the box. I had to spend a lot of time trying to get it right. Even after calibrating it, it wasn't great. I do some casual photo/video editing so color accuracy is pretty important. Unfortunately, this monitor is unusable for this type of work. I'm pretty surprised by how many good reviews this has. Maybe people just love the size and immersion the monitor offers and overlook it's flaws because of that? Or because they paid so much for it they aren't willing acknowledge where it comes up short? Who knows. Either way, I hope LG will release a second version of this monitor with significant improvements on its weaknesses.

This thing is incredible! My 27" monitors do not even seem big enough anymore. lol The screen is much cooler than the typical OLED. The hottest spot on my screen was just 80 F. most screens run at 112+ degrees. I think this lower temperature may be why the oled doesn't burn like traditional screens might. One point that might frustrate is a flashing that occurs in some video games as content turns HDR on and off. I found turning HDR off corrected the problem as video games are not true photographic HDR like a movie , TV or other Film might be. Outside of that 1 needed correction , just for video games, I really like the monitor. And if you can find one open box you are really going to get an awesome discount. If you are going to game in front of it all day, I would also recommend a good set of gaming glasses that block the blue light. especially if you are accustomed to a much smaller monitor. I also added a Astro headset with the mixer and optical input for sound that uses the optical audio out on the monitor. This provides ease in using the same headset as I switch between home PC, work PC, and gaming console. Presented in the pictures with insignia standing desk, Astro mix and amp and gunner glasses.

Love colors great to watch and good quality basically the best purchase i have ever done

The screen is masive, and the resolution is awsome for gaming. The screen has screen cleaning after long sessions of gaming to keep the OLED colors vibrant. The scree has made my gaming experience so better whether I am playing a FPS or and open world exploration type game. I truly recommend buying this screen if you have the funds and the room.

First off, this monitor is amazing! I switch from an HP Omen 25f 1080p 240hz monitor. I play FPS competitively and this LG 45” OLED 1440p monitor is like no others out in the market right now. I thought because it was curved it would be an issue but I have no problem with it whatsoever. The immersion you gain from this monitor is insane. Currently have it paired with a 4070ti and if you want the best monitor out right now, this is one you want.

I’ve watched as many videos on this monitor as I could and most of the complaints I saw was the lower ppi it has which would make some text blurry but I haven’t had any issues reading anything off the monitor. My only issue is when I switch inputs from my pc to my console I get really weird hitching through my speakers that are connected directly to the monitor. Now I just need to find a monitor arm for it. Maybe one for dual stacking? I don’t know. Great monitor overall. Even comes with a remote which is cool. I’m happy with it
