The DVD and Blu Ray player works well and had a crisp, clean picture. However, the built in WiFi never has worked with my Dish network or my Samsung TV. Had I known that the WiFi wouldn't connect I wouldn't have purchased this player.

I really like the clean look of the player itself, also like that the basic controls are on the front, my Samsung 4K player I use with my Samsung TV has controls on the top which are easy to bump on accident. The image looks really nice on my 4K TV, very happy

My wife and I watch three DVD or Blu-Ray per day and this machine has held up very well under all that work. The remote control is very small and easy to use. The picture quality is great and it really upgrades those DVD's! I would buy it again.

After looking through review after review, I stumbled onto this player. I also have an Oppo unit, and this player holds its own agains the Oppo. Great features, and the understated look means it will almost disappear in a your entertainment center.

Was looking for a "basic" 4K UHD Blu-ray player and this fills the bill. Play back is excellent with sharp picture a fine sound. Don't be fooled by the low price. You could spend a whole lot more but not get better play back than this player.

I bought a 4K TV and I had an old dvd player that displayed a horrible picture with no sound. This player plays blueray and standard dvds and picture looks great. I have not tried 4K dvds but wanted availability since buying new player anyway.

bought it for 99 dollars，at this price it should be quite a bargain for 4K Blu-ray disc player，although it do not have streaming service or Wi-Fi，but if you have 4K TV then you should not need them in player. It does what it should have，and does well.

The LG 4k player is easy to use and works great. I would recommend upgrading to the Wi-fi included version if you really like your extras and commentary, but otherwise this one is good to go.

Exactly what I was looking for since almost all high end home theater items are “smart” with pre built in spps. I didn’t want another item with the same apps I already have, so why pay extra for it. Love it and the picture quality is excellent!

After purchasing a 4K TV I decided to update my blue ray player as well! 4K movies have come down in price and can be found at a reasonable price. The quality of 4K is excellent and is cheaper than going to a movie theater with your family

I haven't actually bought a 4K Blu-ray yet, but it works fine on regular Blu-ray discs. I have a Roku 4K TV, and this Blu-ray disc player and Roku TV combination seems to be a good one providing nice, crisp images and good sound quality.

The only disappointment I have with this player is that it does not have built-in Wi-Fi. It does have an Ethernet port, but these days, that's almost useless in a Wi-Fi environment. An internet connection helps for live content updates to the discs you're watching or the OS of the appliance.

We needed to update our DVD player, so we got this one in case we happen to use something old fashioned like watch a DVD. Still a handy thing to have around. We have enjoyed it when we use it!

Purchased this on sale for $99. Great 4k player without unnecessary bells and whistles. If you just want a player and dont care about using as a smart device this is the way to go. I would guess the new version UBK80 is the same.

I purchased this 4k player with my LG tv as it was a Best Buy exclusive and has really good features in addition to the $99 Black Friday pricing. very high end unit at a value price in my opinion, would purchase the unit at the regular price.

I never had much luck with DVD players. I hoping this one will last. So far so good. We will see. Even though a protection plan is about 20% of the cost of the unit, it came in handy for the last one I had that stopped reading 4K.

Purchased a 4KTV and wanted to test it out. I was surprised how the 4K player even has an affect on DVDs and non 4K Blue-Rays. I'm fully aware everyone is streaming, but it helps to still have a home player. And a great price

My old player had started skipping, and it was time for a new one. Looked at major brands, am a loyal LG consumer. This has all the bells and whistles I was looking for. And after price and comparing other brands, this one, won hands down.

We love our 4K movies and this blu ray players works well except... we bought ready player one and it makes part of the way through the move and starts freezing up. We thought it was the movie, exchanged it and the new one does the same. Every other movie works flawlessly.
