This is an absolutely beautiful device, and is a close as we're going to get to a perfect device in my opinion. The performance on this device is blazing fast, and its never slowed down once. The Camera is amazing and takes beautiful shots. It captures so much detail! Zooming in to pictures taken on this, it doesn't lose quality even after some zoom(after 3x zoom, then it'll start to lose quality.) This is the only phone I've ever owned that's lasted a full day of heavy work. Under light use, this phone can easily get 2-3 days of battery life. The OLED screen is beautiful, and i haven't seen any screen issues mentioned in the reviews online. The only reason why this is "almost" the perfect phone is due to it's size. Thanks to the all screen design, the phone feels small, but the screen is huge and ofter requires two hands. There is a one hand mode that shrink the screen however. Overall, fantastic device!

Out of the box bad display screen. Blue or white lines on the screen. Bestbuy charged me a restocking fee for returning a defective phone.

The V in LG V30 is for Video. This phone can take up to 2TB microSD card and record 4K Ultra Hi Rez Video on U3 high speed memory. Video recording is Very Good. The Camera is Average in the photos. It picks too slow shutter speeds, and details show color bleed, ghosting, and blur. V30 has a Wide Angle second lens that is great for indoors, group photos, and landscapes. Zoom is average for mid range phones. Manual Mode lets you call the shots and change the exposure settings. Sound: single speaker tin-ear weak phone sound. Thankfully QuadDac very high quality sound is delivered through the head phones. Good BluTooth pairing. Good Internet Speed, FM Radio is supposed to work once you plug in headphones. Overall, it's a $499 level phone selling at $699, though you can expect deeper discounts now the Samsung S9 is out and Samsung NOTE 9 is due soon. GLASS: Glass on front: good. Glass on Back: BAD. No point on putting glass on the back, it scraches, shows smudges. BUY ARMOR for the LG V30 and put it on before you use it. BATTERY: Good Long Life but heats up while watching youtube. Overall LG and Samsung make the best phones on Earth, If you need a budget phone, get one under $200, If you look for a mid-range phone, LG V30 is a Good choice. If you want top of the line, buy the latest Samsung and put armor on it and pay the premium price. Overall: LG V30 is a useable 4G LTE email / web device, with unimpressive photos, very good video, huge storage, and fragile glass design. When you buy any phone from BestBuy, be sure to also buy an Armor case to protect your investment. If you just want rugged flip phone, consider the Kyocera DuraXE instead. LG V30 is a good mid-range choice, cheaper than some, more expensive than others, full featured and huge storage. Good battery life backed by fast acting quick charge ability.
