I'm happy with it

I originally purchased the LG watch Style, but do to bad battery life I returned it. Thus, I bought this smartwatch. The battery lasts me from 630 am to 10 pm with battery remaining. I have always on display on, tilt to wake on, wifi on, Bluetooth on, and gps on, with moderate use, but I don't use the LTE at all. Since, I don't use the LTE I lose some features that would be native on the watch like messaging using contacts or voice using Google Assistant. But, I can use messenger apps on the watch to send a text message. The watch is fluid and quick compared to my old Moto 360 gen 1. Using my watch to take calls is convenient for the most part, just not in public. The speaker is loud and clear and people can hear me just fine on the watch as well. Its also easy to pay for stuff with the watch using NFC with Android Pay. I'm a adult male with a mid to small size arm / wrist, and the watch is in my opinion not that big or uncomfortable compared to what other reviewers might say. Sidenote the first few days the battery is not great, but then becomes great after that. Thus, in all I'm happy with the LG Watch Sport especially for it's features for the price I paid.

Best Android Wear to date

The whole watch itself seems to be built with high quality material giving it a premium feel and look. The watch runs Android Wear 2.0 which is a big improvement over the previous version. Description says it's for AT&T but you can remove the AT&T SIM card, which comes pre installed and install a sim from another carrier or remove the sim altogether and use it straight as a bluetooth device. The only downside is that the band is unremovable due to that is where the LTE antennas are located so you can forget about swapping out bands with another. I do have big wrists and I have the band on the 3rd hole from the end. Watch is very comfortable to wear.

I almost returned my LG Watch Sport. Compared to my Apple Watch the setup was more difficult. I kept at it and once I got everything set up I find it works extremely well. The ability to put apps (complications) on the watch face is very handy. Android Pay and Google Assistant are also very useful features. It has a large round face with a great screen. I’m so glad I kept it.

Great Android Wear 2.0 Watch

I took a chance on this watch, moving from a Moto 360 Sport with great outdoor visibility and battery-life, to this LG Watch Sport. For the first 24 hours I debated on taking the watch back, because in it's default state (all default options enabled), I was lucky to make it 12 hours. However like others had stated, once the battery died during the first 24 hours, it was fully recharged and since I've been able to average 18+ hours. Note that I do turn off cellular data when not required, but somethings forget. My main use of the watch is for the glancability of notifications, so the more I use the watch (screen-time and data usage), the shorter the watch lasts. For me, checking notifications several times throughout the day equates to 18+ hours; if I'm using cellular data and sending several texts and other data related tasks, I would say the battery time is ~16 hours - but depends on how heavy I use the watch.
For those on Google Project Fi - this is the perfect watch for a great cell service. I ordered a data-only sim card for the watch (no charge for the sim and no monthly charge), and the watch can share my data allowance (I've been averaging <5 mb's a month with mostly just texts). While using the data-only Project Fi sim card, I can send receive texts without my phone on me, however I cannot receive or place calls (which works since talking on the watch isn't ideal for me - YMMV). I still use Project Fi's hangouts integration, so my texts go over data instead of cellular - so not sure if this would work if I didn't have the Hangouts integration enabled.
All in all, a great smartwatch that is just as easy to see outdoors while biking, compared my previous Moto 360 Sport (this was a big concern for me - outdoor visibility while exercising) - plus I love the added ability to use my watch without always carrying my phone; I still bring my phone with me most the time, but leave it behind when I'm coaching my kids sporting events (i.e. running around on a field). For those that don't want the cellular data enabled - battery life is excellent - I could get close to 24 hours if I didn't charge, but I charge nightly.
Finally - the reviews are right for build quality, Android Wear 2.0 features ect. - I'm a very happy owner of the LG Watch Sport.

Out of the box, the biggest issue is probably battery life. It took me awhile to figure out why it was draining so fast but the key is "cloud sync" in the android wear app. Once you disable that, I can get through a day from 8am all the way to 11pm with still about 20% left. That's plenty for me. I can stretch it out further if I turn off the Always on Display.

Not a bad purchase, but still a bit expensive for $350. Health tracker and stop watch features are very accurate. Love the fact that the home screens are customizable and allow quick access to other apps. Size may be a problem because it doesn't conform to your wrist like other competitors.

Use my watch to be a standalone. So office calls and cell phone call that go unanswered goes to my watch. Its great not having to carry my phone everywhere I go. Charge my phone and watch every night so no problem with battery life.

A Fair Watch

This watch is pretty high tech. My only problem is that the battery life is not as good as the Moto 360 Sport. This will burn out in 8-10 hours. I work a 12 hour shift too. Plus I do not always have my phone near by so it is always pinging for my phone. If I forget to put it into Airplane mode, it burns out at 6-8 hours. But overall it is a great watch.

This is a great android watch. Its is somewhat bulky and you cannot change the band. For both of these reasons, I gave this product a 4 out of 5 stars. I still think the watch is worth purchasing.

This device is massive to be a smartwatch. But that isn't the part that bothers me the most. The worst part about the device is its battery life. It was only able to last about 7 to 8 hours before completely dying. Purchase at your own risk.

Great Watch - Poor Battery

I bought this watch to replace my LG Urban 2 LTE watch that I have been using with Verizon for quite some time. I was excited that it had Android Wear 2.0 and upgradable to Wear Oreo. I ordered the watch and it connected fine to my Verizon plan. Had to put an already activated sim in it as Verizon didn’t have the IMEI in their system as they canceled their LG Watch Sport launch. Using the watch was amazing. I loved the interface and how it operated. The feel of the device was good and worked well with my wrist. The battery left something to not brag about. Just in using the watch for a few days I have found I can’t get through an entire day or even three-quarters of my usual day without it dying or having to charge it. My Urban watch never had that issue.
End Result: Returned and switched back to my Urban

It's the only Android wear watch that consistently gets updated and seems to be future proof compared to the others. LTE is a great feature but probably unnecessary for most. The dial is great but if you wear it too low on your wrist it gets pressed a lot.

I loved the watch while it worked. Was solid for about 7-8 months. Got an update then I could never get it to sync back up with my phone. Please bring out an updated version.. Can android users please get a watch as good or better than the Apple Watch. Back to my Fitbit I go. Miss being able to answer my phone when cycling. Nobody never knew that I was talking on my watch.

The watch itself is bulky, not even my husband liked it. Now the review for store is what I'm rating, I waited 50 minutes on line to do the return and then on top of that to get discounted $35 bucks for the restocking fee! Good thing we aren't electronic junkies... we will stick to Costco for our needs, never have problems like these with them.
