Bout a lifeproof case over a year ago and opted not to get the extender, then best buy didn't carry the accessories for a while for the iPhone 4. Have a 30 pin stereo dock and a 30 pin to rca cord for another stereo. Got tired of having to take my phone out of the case to play music. Best buy got this product back in stores and I bought immediately, and have not looked back since! Great for keeping your phone in the case and docking, and also helps docking with other cases, such as the otter box defender, which couldn't be docked without the extender. Great product

Works great with the life proof phone case I would recommend

Unfortunately, not all accessories can plug into the iPhone with the LifeProof case so this little adapter is necessary. For example, music docks and chargers. Best Buy had a great price and it came quickly.

I had to have this adapter in order to charge my iPhone because of the Lifeproof case I have on phone. Thought it was a little pricey.

It is one of the best ideas waterproof could've come up with. I suggest that the sales person recommend this device along with the waterproof phone case.

My iPhone would not connect to iHome radio while in a otter case. This device makes it easy to connect and charge.

Only down fall is that it wobbles on any music device that is also a charging dock. Also, don't put it under your pillow with your phone it gets too hot and splits the plastic at the seams.

This is a must have if u want to be able to use the life proof case and charger properly

This is best thing made. The charger from apple is so short. I was able to buy longer charger then buy this to make it fit with my case

Device allows me to use my iPhone in its protective case on devices that would have required me to removed from the case. It also this iPhone to interact with much older iPhone accessories.

Could not have used any of my other iphone/ ipod without this adapter.

I had thought it would be a 30 pin to 6 pin adapter for my iPad2. We have a multitude of 6 pin chargers, but only one 30 pin device left. Therefore I was looking for an adapter that would make my 30 pin device able to be charged off a 6 pin cord. It was kind of a groaning moment when I tossed the thing in my purse on my way to the hospital where my son was admitted and when I went to charge the iPad on the way to the hospital I found it is just a 30 pin on both ends!
