I have drop my iPod Several times and this case has protected in completely. Corner, flat on and side drops have not had any effect on the iPod. What a life saver!

LifeProof - Case for Apple iPod touch 5th Generation - Clear is more protective of my son's iPod which is necessary for us.

I like the Life proof case very much. It is sturdy and light, and does its job well. My only frustration is that it requires a small extension from the headphone jack to the headphone cable. I lost the extension within the first month of having the case, and had to purchase another. I have to constantly keep up with that extension, or keep it plugged into the case. Sometimes I leave it plugged into the end of the headphone cable, but then I do not have it when I want to attach the iPod to the auxiliary jack in the car. It's worth it to feel the device is protected from falls and moisture.

Awesome phone case. I've always bought otterbox but lately they haven't been making quality cases so I tried this one and it's a winner.

Was disappointed that the screen protector was a separate piece not attached to the case. You apply it to the screen like a sticker after putting on the case. Not completely waterproof in my opinion. I was expecting the case to be constructed similar to the case the make for iFone.

This is not my first LifeProof case so I was familiar with the product when I purchased it. It fits the device very well and ports are well protected. The headphone jack is not as convenient as it would be without the case, but it's a very small sacrifice to pay for such a premium case

When purchasing the lifeproof it does not explain that a sheet of non removable plastic is the only thing keeping the water out. It is not stylish. You cannot remove once the plastic is on. The plastic sheeting hides some of the screen. I totally recomend if children are going to be using it but if your a responsible adult and defiantly if you got the geek squad warrenty. Just get a less expensive case.

I purchased for the waterproof ability.... hopefully I won't ever need to test it out. I don't care for the front cover, but that is a personal preference. I think I would have preferred a different brand

I think there could be some others out there that fit better. I was kind of disappointed for the screen protection. Its a thin layer of material, not a second cover like other styles. Works in the end.

Great case! Easy to install, even for me. Protects well without adding bulk to the iPod. I am very pleased with it and would recommend to anyone.

This case is good for general iPod use to keep the device protected and secure. The side/back piece seems to have good shock absorption and covers open ports to protect from dust/water/etc. The face piece is awkward--it fastens to the side bumpers with an adhesive, meaning the seal/protection is only as good as the seal you create. With limited contact surface for that seal, I'm not sure that it's as "lifeproof" as the company claims. However, unless you plan on exposing the case to more extreme conditions, it should protect your device well.

This case has proven to be worthy of its price. Not only have I dropped my ipod in it but have also gotten it wet with a few splashes from the pool and ipod is in perfect order!

I got this case for summer when we are at the lake and pool. It helps when you have wet fingers and kids that have been on the beach all day. We haven't had to test the underwater feature, and don't plan to.

Great sturdy case and it’s waterproof to 6Ft deep water for up to 5minutes. Only cases I will use for my iPhone and iPod.

Lifeproof never fails to please. So comforting knowing my device is protected against almost anything I would encounter while at work!

My husband is a mechanic and uses this at work. It protects his ipod without worrying about it

Nice because it's water and drop resistant only downfall is the headphone jack
