I love life proof cases because my grand kids play with my phone and it gets dropped some times so the case saves it from damage. The only things I don't like about the cases is the buttons are not as sensitive as the real phone so it's harder to put to sleep and stuff. It is also hard for the other person to hear you when on speaker phone. This is a down fall for sure. Overall if you want your phone protected this is the case to buy!

This case is relatively affordable given what it provides. It is also surprisingly thin compared to other cases which is fantastic since this phone is already on the large side. I have yet to intentionally test the waterproof claims on this case but I have dropped the phone out on the job site into sharp gravel and there seems to be no damage to the phone at all. The reason for the 4 Star review is that the case seems to somewhat muffle the microphone leading people to complain about not being able to hear me as well. The case also makes using the fingerprint scanner difficult to use and usually takes multiple attempts to get to work. the case seems to have the same effect on the heart rate monitor. All in all, I don't rely on either the heart rate monitor or fingerprint scanner so those don't bother me. If I ever do find myself rely on the cases waterproof claims, I will be sure to update my review to let people know how I make out.

These lifeproof cases have been a real life saver. I am tough on phones and this has kept it well protected even through drops and don't have to worry about water. Did exchange this color for a white one to match the phone. Would not live without one.

This case were really good fit. The case is in front of the speaker which causes static on the receiving end. Might need to change the design so that the case will not interfere with this. Otherwise its a good case. fits snug and protects the phone.

I bought this as a gift along with the phone for my parents. I haven't heard any complaints. The cases come in many colors which was a plus! The case does what it says. I did like the fact that the case protects the screen and I didn't have to get a separate screen protector for each phone. The only draw back is that it makes the phone slightly bulkier. Although that's the case with all good cases.

I purchased this in the clearance bin as a gift for my sister. She likes the case very much however sometimes it is hard for me to hear her while talking on the phone. I searched online to see that many others have reported a very similar encounter.. LifeProof has released instructions on how to correct problem. I passed it on to my sister and the calls seem to be much better.

I tested my phone out in the pool. And I had not water proof case on. All I had was a normal purple case. I had my phone with me at all time while I was swimming. Well not at all times cause I didn't want to hold onto it that long. But anyways when I was done and I checked my phone....it was working fine. So that means that the Galaxy S5 is high quality water proof

Had an otter cover in the past. It worked good but made the phone big and bulky. The Fre model provides more protection and has a much smaller profile. My only complaint is with the charging plug on the car charger. The one that comes with my phone has an led light on the plug end and won't fit into the charging jack on the phone because of the cover.

Pro: Good element protection at an acceptable size. I have not pushed the limits of the case, but it provides adequate protection for casual everyday use. Con: Chipped/damaged case when reinstalling case per directions using quarter (plastic isn't top quality) and had to configure case multiple times to ensure Samsung Galaxy s5 power button was functional.

It's a decent case. I had 2 main issues with it though. Those are the sound quality and the connector/ extender for input cables like earphones. The sound is very muffled. People could not hear me well and vicacersa. I would put my phone on speakerphone just to hear it in a normal tone. Also, I basically had to use my bluetooth for all my calls. For movies I was ok with he sound even though it was a little lower. The waterproof jack extender they include with the case was another disappointment for me. It may be providing a waterproof seal but it is way to hard to pull it back out of the phone when I am getting out of the car or don't want to use them anymore. Every time I took it out I felt like I was going to break my phone or the cord. The otterbox I think is a better choice. The sound quality is there and the phone is already waterproof. I would go for the defender because it has a screen cover or the preserver if u want the added extended waterproof protection.

This case is just what I was looking for, it is not bulky but protects my phone from water and impact. My only compliant would be that I cant get the fingerprint scanner to work with the case on the phone.

This case provides enough protections without being bulky.

This case has been perfect in every respect; it keeps my phone clean, all ports dry, and is super slim, not macho-like bulky, for a Lifeproof. I feel like I got WAY more than I payed for here!

This is a great product. My child drops my phone constantly. It handles water well. Provides great protection to my overly expensive phone.

The Lifeproof cases are rugged and strong. The only cons that I have is with the Fre case I get an oily effect underneath the screen protector. Also,the person on the other end sounds muffled when listening. Other than that its a pretty tough case.

This case was very useful. Tested it in water. The only downside to this is the speaker phone. The person on the other end can hardly understand you. Not speaker phone friendly.

I have to admit the one fault is that it's so bomb proof that it can be difficult to hear conversations. I often use speakerphone. However I had my husband drop it out a 3rd story balcony on the beach to get the phone quick for a photo. It hit the ground and remains unscathed. Highly recommended

This phone definitely does a great job protecting the phone. It is kind of annoying that the top rubber piece for the headphones constantly falls out if you pull it back to use the headphone jack. The bottom protective piece broke off after about a year of charing uaage... but I also have a toddler so I'm sure that doesn't help. The phone still looks brand new if I take the case off. However, a constant complaint from people is that they can't hear me well when I'm talking to them. When I take the case off, they can hear me just fine. So, I know it is an issue with the case. Like I said, it does its job. I've dropped it in the ocean at the beach many times and the phone still works. My toddler is rough on my phone... the phone works. So, it does its job... you just can't talk to anyone.

case does the job but does make a lot of crackling sounds to the person your talking to if you hold the phone between shoulder and head. Over all good took one star for the problems of making noise

Over all the case is easy to manage,works well with the phone and I feel safer with it on.No need to purchase screem protectors the case has all that.
