First time owning a Lifeproof case. Waterproof and dust proof. Dropped phone 2 times no issues. Sound is great. Only drawback I've found is the edge of screen with case is cumbersome at times. For me not an issue as the protection it offers trumps this.

This case fits the Galaxy S9 nicely. It’s advertised as being able to be submerged in 6ft of water for up to an hour, so it should easily withstand some rain and accidental beverage spills, we’ll see! This case has a screen protector which many cases no longer offer and you have to purchase separately. So far there’s been no issues with the case impeding with the functioning of the phone. I’ve already dropped the phone a couple of times from chest level with no apparent damage to the phone or case. It lacks a stand which would have been nice for viewing videos but propping it up against something works just fine. If you’re an outdoorsman/woman, this case would be a good choice. It’s a little pricey, but was able to get it reasonably discounted.

This phone case is nice and really snaps together. It offers just enough shock protection to keep me feeling safe, and is also an extra plus for it to have nearly the same IP68 waterproofing that the phone has. So I definitely won't feel bad if it gets wet. One thing that really irritates me on this case is that the screen protector doesn't sit directly on the glass of the phone. There is about a 1-2mm air gap between the protector and the glass. You really have to push down on the screen to get it to work, which makes using the gesture keyboards, and overall use of the phone, just a bit of a pain in the rear to use. Unfortunately that's just the price you pay for extra water resistance. I don't know of another case that offers the same water protection that this one does, so if that is something you are looking for, this is your best option. Otherwise if you are somewhere fairly dry and dust free, you might feel better going with something else.

Very protective, sleek and not bulky..light and easy to set up

Ok, so the case is super at protecting my Galaxy 9, It's tough as nails, waterproof and you can still use the phone. The not so good, It's hard to hear calls clearly, It makes voice to text sometimes fail, It muffles the ringer, and whomever your talking to on the phone sometimes has difficulty hearing you. For a super tough case this is a winner, for some of the functions not so much. For what I do (construction) this type of case is pretty much a requirement unless you like to replace your phone every week, So I will deal with it's shortcomings

I bought this for my wife because she has a TERRIBLE record when it comes to electronics. This thing is waterproof (toilet), dust proof (left it outside), drop proof (I can’t count the times); it’s basically her-proof. She has dropped it on the ground, in the sink and left it on top of the car after we got home. This case is the best thing I could have bought her after buying her a really expensive phone for her first smartphone. Seriously, she had a flip phone when I met her and she continued using it for six years! She’s a little, no a lot, technologically disadvantaged so this little item was perfect to protect my investment. If you don’t need bells and whistles in your phone case, you just need protection, get this item! I’m not even kidding. Greatest find ever!

This case is the perfect all around protection. The best part is that your phone is 100 percent protected with out adding s lot of bulk. The only problem is the screen cover does not sit tight against the screen. You have to apply pressure on the sides and top.

The life proof cases are excellent I have actually worn one out but it protected my phone so well I bought another one. I have submerged my phone and dropped it form 12 feet and did not suffer any damage in this case.

I swear by keeping a good case on my phone and for years I have been relying on Lifeproof cases to get the job done. I have never tested the "waterproof" functionality but I can tell you it has kept my phone in mint condition despite me testing just about every other advertised point of toughness. This case is the difference between upgrading because you want a new phone and can trade your old one in for full trade value or upgrading because you finally damaged your old phone beyond usability. The only downside to this case is the price. But that usually comes down after the phone is a year old or so.

Recently purchased this with my new phone. This case is wonderful. Doesn’t add a lot of weight. Works with wireless charging and protects the phone.

Lifeproof is worth the $$. Provides excellent, strong all around coverage against drops, dirt and water. Improved design for sound and charging port makes this purchase worth every dollar

I purchased this for my wife who had broken 2 Zagg screen protectors within 3 weeks. She has had this on her phone for a few months now and kept it safe from her klutzy ways.

The case protects the phone ok. The screen protector already has some scratches on it but I am also hard on phones. A little finicky to put on but a sound investment.

So far this case has protected my new Samsung S9 phone pretty good. I have not submerged it in water yet but it seems that it will hold up well.

This is a great item. Just way over priced.....Looks and fits really good too.
