Case front was a little different than previous LifeProof cases I have had since there are what appear to be little sensor small dots on the front of the plastic. But alas, I do not see them when the phone is backlit, only when it is off or has a black screen. Great case, would buy again.

Every single phone I’ve ever had has been in a lifeproof case. I like this case but the only problem is it has trouble with Face ID. But after reading other reviews I decided to remove the clear stickers inside of the case and have not had any more problems

Case is expensive but with the warranty lifeproof offers it is well worth it as I have had some minor issues with certain areas getting worn or falling off but only pay shipping for a new case.

We're sorry to hear that you were having troubles with the FaceID function while using your FRĒ case! We're bummed to hear that you returned your LifeProof, but if you decide to give us another shot in the future, we have some simple modifications that should get that FaceID feature working again.
Step 1: Open your case and remove your device.
Step 2: Lay the front of the case down on a flat hard surface with the screen protector surface facing down (the Silence Switch will be on your right).
Step 3: Centered near the top of the inside of the screen protector, you’ll see two small clear stickers. Using your fingernail, remove the sticker on the right (leave the left sticker in place).
Step 4: You may need to use some isopropol or rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to remove glue residue left by the sticker you removed.

But this new one is priceless and it doesn't work properly! You have to press over and over the screen to go to your apps and this is very frustrating. When you go to your phone contacts in alphabetic letters that it is very close to the frame of the case and it is impossible you to reach the letters. The back of the case is very nice but the LifeProof have to work better in the front of it! I bought one for my husband at the Best Buy and one for me on the Amazon and, we returned both of them. We are very disanppointed !

Lifeproof is a life saver for a klutz like me!

These cases are a life saver! This model has a slightly newer design - the cover for charging port is easy to open as is the button for the sound/ringer on/off button.

It covers the back and front. A little expensive compared to others. The difference in this one vs the cheaper ones is the front clear screen cover.
