I just replaced my IPhone 5 with IPhone 12 and was eager to get the new case. After putting the new case on I realized that the charger port plug was not hinged like the previous case. It is all one piece and bends at the point where it is fastened to the case. I have had the case for less than a month and wear is already showing. I charge the phone every other day and am very careful with the plug, but I doubt it will last the summer. I guess I'll have to buy one of those charging pads to keep from breaking the plug. I would never have purchased this case if the packaging had allowed me to see how poor a design this was.

The charger cap is nice since my port always gets dirty from working outside. My only complaint is that the screen protection seems to bulge out and hamper my typing, this means I have to beat the hell out of my screen whenever I want to say something.

We're so glad this FRĒ case has your vote of confidence protection-wise, but we're so sorry the screen seems to be trampolining. We'd recommend opening the charge port door at the bottom of the case and then press the front of the case firmly against your chest or thigh, with the palm of your hand against the back of the case, to squeeze the air out.

Unfortunately I was unable to consistently use the swipe. I was using lots of battery just trying to swipe to open up the phone or change apps. Finally gave up and took off the case.

And as for the case it is great except when it comes to wireless charging capability. With the new iPhone 12 the case seems like is too thick on the backside of the phone which makes it spotty to charge.

I never hold my phone, it goes straight into the case when bought. Keeping that warranty going.

All my photos were fuzzy. The lens cover is extremely sensitive to scratching. I always put my phone in a dedicated spot in my purse to prevent my phone from getting scratched. Also, I clean my phone with a microfiber cloth. I googled the issue and found this to be a problem with many people who purchased this phone case. Aside from this issue, the case works great to protect my phone.

We're so sorry you're having some mixed feelings about this FRĒ case. The good news is we have some troubleshooting tips which should restore a seamless FaceID interaction.
Step 1: Open your case and remove your device.
Step 2: Lay the front of the case down on a flat hard surface with the screen protector surface facing down (the Silence Switch will be on your right).
Step 3: Centered near the top of the inside of the screen protector, you’ll see two small clear stickers. Using your fingernail, remove the sticker on the right (leave the left sticker in place).
Step 4: You may need to use some isopropol or rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to remove glue residue left by the sticker you removed.
