I found the lifeproof cover on the clearance rack. When I purchased my phone I thought I am careful enough I don't need to spend the money on such a case. Little did I know...after dropping the phone is a pool of water and quickly grabbing it. I was very fortunate to have gotten it before too much moisture entered the phone. It took a day to dry out and work again. I am very very lucky. So when I saw this case I didn't hesitate. It seals well. all the functions work as though the screen were uncovered. I can hear fine. Its a bit tough to open and close. Which is good, otherwise it might not seal so well

Had it for about a month and overall I'm happy with it. Protects the phone and its not bulky and I like how its waterproof. The sound is muffled but I dont mind that too much as long as my phone is safe. Dont quite understand if it supposed to be safe from dust how lint made it's way into the case. Even with that being said I still wont buy any other brand of case ever again. Pricey, but money WELL spent.

Very solid design. Fits well and doesn't add any bulk. Waterproof is excellent but as far a dust protection, could be better. Dust still seems to find its way inside and the case has to be taken off occasionally to clean the dust out.

I expected more for the price and advertisement. It's a great idea to protect phone from falls and water. I haven't tested the water resistant feature, but hope it works if the time came. The hinge that covers the charging outlet broke off in 2 months! Luckily Best Buy replaced it immediately. Other downfalls: Price, bulky so doesn't fit in armband when working out, not all chargers and headphones fit into phone due to the case being in the way. However, they do provide you with an adapter for headphones, but then that gets stuck in the phone a little too secure and scares me when I have to pull so hard on it to remove. Hope my 2nd one lasts longer than the 1st. Don't see many other cases that advertise these features so limited on choices.

This case is great to protect the phone. It does not work with bulkier chargers (the car charger I had does not fit through the charge port with the case on). However, its easy to take on and off and does not interfere with phone functionality.

Easy to cover the phone, has saved my phone from drops and water damage many times. I have a two year old running around and it's nice to know even if he grabs it, he can't do much damage with this cover on. Water test very easy to perform. Would definitely recommend this. Unlike other covers, does not add weight to the phone and doesn't make the phone heat up when the cover is on.

I like this case as it keeps my phone very protected and dry when put in water. The only thing I don't like about the case is the person I'm talking to on the other line can't hear me very well, sounds like I'm very far away from my phone. The one thing I did find to help with that is to open the charger cover when talking to the other person.

Took my galaxy s4 out fishing with me. I caught a good sized fish and wanted a pic. I accidentally dropped my phone in the river. Good thing I had the Life Proof case on my phone. I retrieved the phone from the bottom of the river and the phone itself was completely dry. This Life Proof case is amazing and a life saver... only thing I don't like is the case muffles my voice during a phone call and the person I am talking to has a hard time hearing me. Great case otherwise.

This case is slim, so it's easy to put the phone in my pocket and get it out. I have dropped it a few times and no cracked screen. I like the product.

So after buying this case i was initially pretty excited about it. My wife and I have a 1 year old who recently developed an affinity for our cell phones. Naturally, I thought the LifeProof case would be a good choice. After having it for a few months here are my observations: Pros -Case is pretty durable. -No loss of touch recognition with screen covering. -Not super bulky. Cons -Hard to hear callers. -Hard for callers to hear you unless you have the phone directly next to your face. Speaker phone option is sometimes difficult for callers on the other end to hear you. -Charger port cover broke about a week after purchase. Now the phone is no longer waterproof. Overall this case is ok. I'm not super pleased with it but at least it offers some level of protection. I would not buy it again however.

Is a very strong protection to my phone, but is a little bit pricey.

I really enjoyed the peace of mind this case offers and it delivers. I did the water test first it asks to perform and I knew I would have no issues after it passed. As for my 4 star rating I seemed to have issues with people hearing me talk after about 9 months. I never really did investigate it much but it did seem that the mic hole didn't line up correctly but I doubt that was the true issue as I had no problems talking for the first 8 months. I used the phone for a few weeks with the case off and developed charging issues and had to upgrade. Otherwise a great product.

Got this phone case to protect my Samsung Galaxy S4. Love having Lifeproof on my phone that way I know no matter what my phone is safe. It's already held up to water and drops with no issues! Great case would just like to see more colors available.

I do like the LifeProof cases over all of the other products out there. Now, they even test it at the manufacturer. When you need to open it use a quarter and find the indented slots on each side of where you charge your phone. I enjoy having my phone when I am in the pool. Rainy days I can talk with ease knowing its protected. When I went to the beach, I made sure to keep it out of direct sun but no prob with being in the sand.

My husband needed this case because he tends to drop his phone frequently, and, we do have a pool that he spends a lot of time around in the summer. He needs to keep his phone protected. The case fits the phone great. The trade off is the sound quality. On our end, the sounds sometimes breaks up. On the other caller's end, there is feedback and/or it sounds like the person using this phone case is in a tunnel. However, my husband is overall happy with the case. Not sure I would like it if it was mine.

This case is wonderful. I have dropped it and phone is still fine. Not worried about accidentally dropping in snow because of it being waterproof.

I purchased this case for my husband since he works in construction and tends to work in very moist conditions and drop his phone a lot. Most cases in the past have protected his phone from physical damage but popped loose at impact and didn't provide water protection from humidity and perspiration. This case is totally different. It is tightly sealed which I/he love and hate about it. For some reason when operating the speakerphone option callers on the other end couldn't hear him speak. Furthermore, incoming calls were full of static. We initially thought it was the phone, brought it to Geek Squad, and the phone was fine. The calls were clearer, and callers could hear my husband while on speakerphone. Eventually, we exchanged the case for another brand. He hasn't had any problems with the new case. Just goes to show you that sometimes a good thing could be too good. The case was so tightly sealed that it muffled the microphone during the speakerphone option and interfered with the earpiece during normal calls. However, this case may work better for other phones such as the iPhone 5s. My daughter has this phone and the same style case. She hasn't had any issues and loves it greatly. (See my review)

The charging port cover broke with a month of using the item. But that I could have lived with, even though it defeats the purpose of the case supposing to be water proof. But the thing that got me is the microphone being covered up to the point of being inaudible. Whenever I had the charging cover on my phone, I had to open it up and yell or talk very loudly just so the other person on the phone call could understand anything I was saying. This is terrible. I hate it for this. I have never had any trouble with any Otter Boxes that I have had.

Works for small submerging as advertised (phone dropped in puddles, toilet, etc.) Quick retrieval showed no moisture leak with charging port shut. Note that the volume is fine for you, but you may have to speak a little more loudly to be heard without Bluetooth, the airtight case muffles your voice slightly to others. Reduced by one star as easily avoidable with bluetooth use.
