If you need to protect your phone from the elements, this is the case. The case is designed to handle drops and immersion in water. The charge port is behind a little cover that has to be opened to charge, but it's easy to use. The audio port, on the other hand, is not as convenient to use. The audio port is behind a "plug" you must twist open. There's a required adapter that must them be inserted to use headphones. Pros: Great protection from drops and water Wireless charges through case Cons: Not great if you use headphones a lot Case difficult to remove (by design)

Its a good case. After a few weeks of on the job in my pocket, I have dust between case screen and phone. Arrived in what appeared to be an open package. Power button was stiff and not working at first, but now is fine. Ill update to 5 if I drop it off staging or roof and it saves my phone

I have been looking/waiting for a lifeproof case for galaxy in purple. This case is amazing. I have had lifeproof cases before and loved them all. I was so happy when I saw this one in purple!

I bought a case and when home and did the water test it says to do before you put your phone in it. On the life proof website it has a video that shows you exactly how. Well I did it and it failed so I returned it and got another case. I noticed there was a gap at the bottom of the case. The second one I got, I didn't even test it. I just put my phone it and very quickly I realized that AGAIN at the bottom of the case where the plastic screw is for the 3.5mm head jack that there is a gap in it. So I'm skeptical if It will keep water out but who knows... The main reasons I've decided to keep the case is because I have dropped my old phones a lot and this case has a thinner profile and not bulky like the otter box, although the girl at best buy told me that they are the same company. And plus I don't feel like returning a bunch of cases. I feel its 50/50 with these cases. either you get a good one or bad one.

it leaked and best buy has a 2 week return policy on that brand and now im waiting for the manufacturer to ok a return! very disappointed!

I have had this case for almost a year now. The main body of the case is extremely durable, but there are a few issues. 1) The lip of plastic that holds the charging port cover closed is not durable. It broke within a few months and the cover became non-functional. Fireproof replaced the case, but it broke again in the same place. 2) It is hard to keep the camera lenses cover clean. Dirt & smudges seem to gather quickly and cause photos to have soft edges. When the charging port door broke again, I popped out the lenses cover and my photos are sharp again. 3) The screen cover is durable, but according to other parties, sound is muffled during calls. On the plus side, the case is compatible with inductive chargers, the screen protector is durable, the main body of the case is durable and does a great job protecting the main body of the phone. If they can re-engineer the charging port cover the case would almost be perfect.

I am trying out the case for the first time today and there are pros and cons. I don't like the screen protector attachecd to the case because it makes the screen resolution grainy and it reduses the touch sensitivity so i have to press a bit harder. I love the color (i bought the purple one) super cute and my phone feels very protected inside of it. Its very light compared to my otterbox commuter case which i like. But the way the case is structured muffles the sounds.

Well worth price. Lightweight and waterproof if installed and used correctly. Also able to use Samsung charging pad with case on phone. Very durable. Only drawback was charging port "door" failed to seal closed after a year and had to purchase new case. Replacement had a manufacturing flaw at charging port and wouldn't snap closed after 29 days. Difficult to close when purchased, but thought it just indicated tight seal. Luckily, because of elite status, was able to exchange at no cost. New one seems much better. Regardless of inconveniences, still think best case out there because of waterproof feature.

Pros- If installed properly it seems to be water-proof Solid build Relatively easy installation While installed phone remains fully responsive Cons- EXPENSIVE Maybe it's just me, but the inside of the case's screen cover constantly gets little pieces of "pocket crud" stuck in there. Of course cleaning it requires pulling off the case, which leaves the phone screen vulnerable to fingerprints and smudges so it can be a pain at times Using headphones with the case on requires an adapter (included in package) which is threaded and has a gasket on it. I'm assuming that using the adapter correctly is supposed to maintain the waterproofing of the case, but I never tested it out. Anyway, if you don't have the adapter on you, you can't use the jack without taking the case off, which happens to me a lot. Good case, issues primarily caused by the case's features unfortunately.

Love the protection you get with such a thin and lightweight case. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to a bit of air between the phone screen and the plastic screen protector making it an awkward feeling when typing or clicking on something on the screen. I am sure I will get over it.

When I bought my Galaxy S4, I purchased an Otterbox Defender to protect from drops with the benefit of a screen protector that doesn't take effort to apply to protect the phone. I recently upgraded to an S7 and had the same needs. This case offers a similar level of protection as the Defender did, has the screen protector and doesn't make the phone bulky. The small flaw is the clip over the micro USB port snapped off and flew across the first time I tried to open it. Since the phone is water proof to a few feet, not having the clip isn't a big deal for me. It looks like the holes in the plastic housing were too close to the outside of the phone, rupturing when attempting to open the case.

I am used to the bulkier otterbox but liked the slimmer fit of the Lifeproof case. This case fit my S7 great. I've dropped my phone several times and no issues!! I like the waterproof feature however hope to never have to really test it out. The sound does appear muffled at times but overall it doesn't bother me or the person I'm talking to. The flap covering the charging port opens a bit hard however I would fear it would break off or loosen up with continued use. We got the wireless charger so not a big deal. Overall, I am pleased with the case.

I really love this case for my galaxy S7. I chose this case over the otter box, because I wanted a case just as durable but not as bulky. The case is slim and sleek. The outside is hard not rubber. It is also waterproof. However, I like to listen to music from my phone, but I have to plug in an aux cable to listen to music in my car. Note that I had to purchase a slimmer aux cable extension to connect phone without needing to taking it out the case. In addition, I am able to charge my galaxy without taking it out the case. Overall, I love this case.

This is a great waterproof case, even tested it in the splash zone at Sea World. And I am able to use it on my wireless charger. The only down side is that the sound is muffled now. So if you use it to listen to music without a rear piece of speaker then it's muffled more. If you open the latch to the charging area that helps...but warning that latch area is hard to open, so I definitely recommend a wireless charger. I am actually going to re sell mine because that drives me crazy. Also the screen protector is scratched already...

Great cover slim not bulky at all. I love that it has a screen protector because now a days the screen of this high end phones Crack easily. This cover takes care of that issue, this cover will protect your expensive phone from Drops Falls and even water because it's sealed tight. The only issue I have is that since the cover is waterproof its sealed tight and sometimes when people call me they complain that there is an echo. Other than that this is a cover to have.

Very nice cover for my S7, not bulky like the others but still feels like it will give good protection. I gave it four stars because I'm waiting to see if the door for the charging port will break like some of the other reviews have mentioned. So far its not been a problem. The only issue i have was with Best Buy sending me a used and broken case in the mail.

Slim, light weight, water proof, nice color. expensive

This is a decent case for Galaxy S7. It is waterproof which is great. And I've unfortunately tested that and yes it's true. It is very thin and lightweight. I don't like the smooth plastic back, the phone slides all over the place on any surface not completely flat. I prefer a rubber back. The screen protector takes away some touch screen sensitivity. I had a body glove for my S3 for 4 years and never had that problem. My biggest complaint is the headphone jack. You have to use the provided adapter in order to plug in anything which is a complete nuisance. I like to listen to music at home, in the car, on a walk, etc. To have to unplug the adapter from my home stereo to the car, or remember to throw it in my purse, well let's just say it is less than convenient. I bought the case on sale Black Friday for $25 but would never pay the full retail price of about $80.

This is my second life proof case I have owned. The first one was for my galaxy s5 which looked brand new when I traded it in for the galaxy s7. Because I work in an outside environment, it was important to have a case that protected my phone from all elements which it does. The only drawback I have is that the screen protector has a lil bit of a glare. Other than that, its an excellent case.
