I've had 3 iPhones and this is my 3rd Lifeproof case. My first case, the sound from my phone was clear when using the case but my second case muffled the sound a little. I was a little afraid that would happen again but that's not the case. The sound is not muffled at all. This case is sleek. Doesn't add much size to my iPhone 6. My only issue with the case is that Lifeproof has made the charging port so small that only an Apple charge will fit. So no longer can I use my 3rd party 10 foot charging cord unless I take off my Lifeproof case.

Overall, the case provides good 360 degree protection, and it's smaller than the others like tech21 or the otter box. Haven't tested it for waterproofness, and hopefully won't. There are two big limitations - the charging cord hole doesn't fit any one I had other than the Apple original ones, so no go with my car lighter one, my Modal marching ant one, etc. Second limitation - good luck plugging in headphones without the adapter. Doesnt fit my beloved Yurbuds. Bluetooth is great, not so on the plug ins.

This case provided outstanding protection for your iPhone 6. Really drop-proof and water resistant. Easy to install and since the screen protector is built into the unit it becomes more cost-effective. I did not give it 5-stars because of one annoying issue. The case has an opening your charging jack passes through to plug into the phone. On 2 of my 3 charging cables, the plastic portion of the plug is too large for the opening in the case. Were it not for this, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

Purchased this case for my wife and it offers great protection without a lot of bulk. However, since it is waterproof, the seal can muffle audio.. reducing sound quality and making it hard to hear when making calls. Also, Apple headphones work fine with the port but other audio cables often don't fit without the provided extension. The screen protector tends to get a rainbow effect as well. All in all, the protection is worth it to us, especially with 2 little boys, but may not be worth it to everyone.

I bought this case because I live in Florida and I'm always at the pool with my kids. Now even tho it says it can go under water I'm not brave enough to really try. I bought it because my kids always grab my phone with wet hands. I did the test and no leakage, great! I love the color. My only complaint is you have to use only an APPLE charger with it. The hole is to small to use any other kind. Well of course I buy generic chargers so now I'm stuck with probably 4 cables that are no good.

Perfect size for my pocket. Not bulky, easy to hold and appealing design. Recommend this case. Bought one and liked it well enough to go back and buy another one.

I have a bad habit of dropping my phone everywhere. This has been perfect for me. It's not as bulky as the 4s one was. It has protected my phone from from a few drops and also a little swim. I've been able to use this phone in hot tubs and pools with no problems. I wouldn't recommend taking the case on and off. This can weaken the seal and make it not totally waterproof. This happened to my sons case after he kept taking it on and off.

We purchased this case primarily for the waterproof feature, in case there were any accidents with our kids around. Although it is a great case for those unfortunate mishaps, it's not very practical for every day use. Since the phone is completely sealed in (which is what it should do), you can not hear nor can others on the end of the line hear you, clearly. Since the case covers the face of the phone, sounds are subdued. I'm not an engineer, so I don't have a solution, but if you make and receive a lot of calls, this probably isn't the right case. If you use a bluetooth or just use the device for texting, email, online, etc., then it's probably a decent product. One benefit is that this case, with the protection it provides, is not very bulky, which is a plus compared to some of the other manufacturers (i.e. Otterbox, etc.).

I love Lifeproof. I got my iPhone 6 for Christmas but waited until the blue case came out in Feb. before I would even open the box. I've bought half a dozen over the years for our family phones. I feel confident in the protection it provides and feel it's well worth the money. Regarding the new case for the iPhone 6: I really like that the headphone access port cap is attached and I can use my off-brand headphones, unlike with the Lifeproof 4 case. Also, I love the blue color. I wish there were more color choices. The purple seemed too young and the red was RED. Black and white are snooze fests. On the negative side, the case doesn't work with the sound toggle switch. I don't know if the switch is too small or it's something with the case design, but I haven't been able to get it to work even after taking the case off and reapplying. Nevertheless, you can mute with the volume control buttons, so it's just a small annoyance. Also, I have not had success getting the fingerprint unlock option to work with the case. I have made several attempts and it works about 1 in 10 times. This isn't too big a problem for me because I don't usually lock my phone. However, if you want or need to keep your phone private or you wish to use Apple Pay, you will likely have problems.

This is the third life proof case I've purchased for an iphone (previously for iphone 4 and 5s) and as always it's the best investment. I never have to worry about dropping my phone, I can play pandora radio in the shower, even take underwater pictures in the pool! I've never minded the additional bulk knowing that I've got the best protection possible, and knowing that LifeProof fulfills their warranty if anything happens to the case.

This case does what it says. It is waterproof. It does protect my phone. It is easy to use. I don't like using the adaptor for the headset but oh well. And it it a bit on the boring side so I got a great skin to dress it up. Problem solved. Overall it is a case that does what it is supposed to do. Protect my phone

advantages: sleek and slim design, supposed to be water and snow proof (have not verified yet) and advertised to be drop proof. Excellent customer service from manufacturer - my dog chewed up the speaker extension wire and Lifeforce sent me a replacement free of charge within a couple days disadvantages: priced high, I'm not sure if it will really survive a drop as advertised so I'm afraid of accidently dropping it for fear of a cracked screen, needs an extension wire to plug in headphones or speaker, sometimes when incoming phone calls arrive, I have to unscrew the headphone extension speaker wire otherwise the person on the other end can't hear. this has happened numerous times sometimes with no speaker extension wire plugged in. main like is that it should be waterproof; main dislike is speaker wire required and unsure of drops.

This case is great, but there are a few flaws. I have emailed lifeproof in hopes they fix these issues. 1) the charger port is extremely small. The only charger cable that can be used is one that is the same size as the lightning cable that came with the phone, disappointing. I own a 30 pin to lightning adapter that is Apple, but since it is larger, I cannot use it and the case. Most aftermarket cables, even Apple approved cables, cannot be used. 2) You still have to sacrifice sound for waterproofing and using headphones to talk is almost a necessity. 3) The quality of both cameras is somewhat compromised because the film over the lenses for a waterproof case. Overall the case is pretty great. I have dropped it many times and should have broken at least the screen, but it has remained completely protected. I have spilt water and coffee on the phone and again, completely protected. I am pleased with this case, it fits my active lifestyle, and I will continue to use it despite the few flaws.

I bought this case because we were going on vacation and planned on visiting several water parks, so I wanted a waterproof case. The case was easy to install and it is great. I fully submerged it during our vacation and not one drop of water got into my phone. It also provides great impact protection if your phone falls. It's a little bit pricey but definitely worth it.

I've had life proof on my phones since they where released and they are great for all around protection. I had one that sank 12ft under water for about 5 mins until we found it and not a drop of water was inside but I always put a new case on about every 3-5 months as the wear and tear on using the buttons and charging port wear down and become vulnerable for water.

I absolutely love this case! It's slim design does not add unnecessary bulk to my phone. I selected the Lifeproof case because I swim and go to the beach often. I feel confident that the case will protect my phone if it becomes submerged because I tested the case prior to using it. I have dropped the phone several times and the case protected it from damage.

Major flaw with this is that once you put the case on you iPhone the Bio-metric button has problems scanning your finger. You have to make sure you are pressing it right in the center and not shift your finger to get it to recognize your print. Other than that I Love this case, and ever since buying my first one for my iPhone 4, I trust this case a lot. Less bulkier than the Otterbox cases and its waterproof. I would still not jump in a pool with it, but I have the peace of mind that if I drop it in a puddle or it is raining hard outside, then I do not have to worry about it. ALWAYS do the water seal test before putting your phone in it. This way you know if the case and seal were shipped without a defect. Like the color but wish it was darker or that they had a Gray version. Got this one because I had already bought a black one and did not want to have two of the same in the house.

Working at a Pool, I wanted a case that would be water proof. With Lifeproof, I didn't have to worry about my phone being damaged by water. The case itself is thin and is easy to take on and off. The only annoying factor is that you have to use the adapter for headphones other than the apple ones. Definitely would recommend to all of my friends.

This is the 2nd lifeproof case I've owned and am happy with the durability and waterproof factor. I've even tested in swimming in saltwater with no issues. Also, for a waterproof case it is very slim fitting. The only trouble with lifeproof cases is that off brand charging cords often don't fit (you have to use original apple charging cord).

This case offers the maximum protection for my phone without adding bulk. It slides in and out of my pocket without catching and looks great to boot. It is better than the previous lifeproof case for my 4s. The only con I can think of is that it may hamper the ear piece sound slightly on phone calls but who talks on the phone these days.
