Good protection but the screen protector hinders performance. Touch ID works great.

this case is far better than my old otter box. It is much smaller and more compact. It offers the same protection plus it's waterproof.

This case is thin and very useful. It really protects the cwllphone without being bulky. I love it,better than otterbox definitely.

I've only used lifeproof cases, so I can't compare them to other cases, but I'm very happy with them. I also purchased one for my iPhone 4s. While in the case, I've dropped my phone numerous times, which is why I need a case, & my phone was never hurt--even from around 5 ft on concrete. My only complaint is that the volume is slightly effected by the case & the volume on the iPhone is already not very good, so I have to leave the volume on the max.; however, I kind of expected that since it is a waterproof case.

The life proof case is the only case I get. Protects my phone from normal wear and tear and keeps my phone dry while I'm in the water.

Great case, I love the slim feel of it, it don't make my phone feel bulky. I have dropped it several times and it has help up well!

I picked this up as I was concerned about taking my shiny new iphone 6 on an upcoming beach trip...sand/water and such. This case did the trick...could hear fine through the plastic when on the phone (a concern I had initially) and it protected it well. Only complaint I have is the adapter to use normal headphones is kind of a pain...but small price to pay for that level of protection.

I love everything it says it can do but the plastic covering the screen does have that rainbow bubble on it making it sometimes difficult to read swipe and the fingerprint feature can be hard to read as well with plastic coverage. The charger cover was very hard to open, thought I was gonna break it trying to open it. The phone jack had a small screw top that you need tiny fingers to open and the silent switch has bulky coverage making it hard to go back/forth. The microphone did block out some sound with phone calls and I did notice some vibration echo off/on as well. People did mention not hearing my messages because it sounded muffled. I do more texting so it wasn't a deal breaker but just keep in mind. I gave it a month because the protection was great but I don't go into extreme weather/sport situations and the frustration of occasional miss swiping and not reading fingerprint ruined the features of the phone so I returned it for a different case. It's worth it if you are rugged person but if your gentle with your phone already then try something else.

My wife and I use these for our phone so. They have been very solid performers. Mine has been dropped onto concrete and asphalt several times from about 4 feet and the phone is fine. The cover is a little tricky to take off and on for occasional cleaning but we rarely need to do that. We are happy with the built in screen protector too. Our only issue is with the part of the cover that protects the mute/lock slide, it has chipped off and that part also makes it hard to know if the slide is in the on or off position.

Easy to assemble, and totally protects phone. My phone has already been dropped a few times and exposed to water. No problems at all!

Good coverage. Good protection. Screen protector is easy to scratch though.

living at the beach I need a waterproof case for my phone. This case is lightweight in addition to keeping the sand and water out.

Overall the case seems great (although I'm pretty careful with my phone anyway, so I don't really test the protection). It's not hard to remove the case if I want to. It is a little more cumbersome to plug in the headphones as there is an extension specially designed to keep the case waterproof that you have to screw in. One thing, the automobile charger I got free with the phone wouldn't work with the case, the plug would not fit through the opening in the case. The standard iPhone provided USB charging cord does fit.

This is an excellent case to have around the water. But the sound is not good.

The life proof case is by far the best cell phone case I've ever purchased. It protects your phone but also always you to get it wet

Impact, dust, and water resistant in a thin package. This is a great case and can protect you're phone from even the worse abuse.
