This was a purchase as a gift for my daughter who needed protection for her new IPhone 6. The installation instructions inform you how to test the waterproof barrier before installing the phone - a good feature. She is very pleased with the case.

This case is very protective and not as bulky as an otterbox

My daughter wanted this case - read the ratings/reviews and found it's a great case and will withstand normal abuse. Even dropped water on it to test waterproofing - passed the test. Wouldn't recommend submerging the case in water for long periods of time, but if the phone is accidentally dropped in water, it will protect the phone.

I've always been a "Speck" girl, but since I shattered my two previous iPhones, I decided to upgrade cases when I purchased my new iPhone 6. So far - it's well worth the extra money, especially since you don't need to buy a screen protector. This case is lightweight and very durable. I have not yet tested its "waterproof" capabilities.

After I destroyed my phone by dropping it once I decided to invest in a case that would protect the new one. So thankful I paid a little more because I have dropped my poor phone repeatedly and even accidently dropped it in water. No worries with this case though.

I've had a LifeProof case for every iPhone I've had. It's the only case that protects against water. I've even taken my phone on water slides. If anything happens to the case they replace it with a brand new one.

I love life proof cases. They are thin, sleek and sturdy.

iPhones are simply designed to break. I work in a harsh environment and need a really durable cover for my phone. Since this phone is a bit larger and I wanted to be sure it was protected. Apple's sleek design on their products doesn't jive well with work gloves and heavy industrial establishments. This cover so far makes its possible.

Love how well it fits and how unbulky it is for the amount of protection it provides. Only problem I have is using the volume silent/ring on the left side. This appears to be a common problem, wish they would make a solution in the newer cases.
