we figured since we has the insurance on our iphone6 that we would put the lifeproof case through the test. While swimming, i threw it in the pool. it sank to the bottom and was there a good bit before i found it. we took the phone out of the case and it was dry. so it is definitely worth the money.

Have used a couple times in water, and it works. The only problem for me is that it started to tear from charging it, every time i open cap to connect it to light cords

I have used numerous cases over the last 4 yrs All those cases had to be returned cause of faliure This new fre case by life proof is designed for a working class person such as myself. If it can stand up to 12 hr days 6 days a week in construction. It will hold up to everyday use in the normal world!!!

Purchased another case before this and hated it. Love how the new Lifeproof is so low profile. Great protection without the bulk. Haven't tested in the water but I'm confident it'll be ok. Volume and talk does not seem to be distorted. Only wish I was able to use my auxiliary cable without the adapter.

I was having a hard time deciding between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. The reason why I chose the iPhone 6 was because Lifeproof doesn't have cases for iPhone 6 plus yet. That's how much I loved my iPhone 5 Lifeproof case. I am loving this new Lifeproof 6 case. It's slim and gives me the piece of mind.

The cover works great inside the pool and it protects it very well. The only downside is that I have a little bit of trouble with the Ring/Silent Switch on the side of my phone. It is a little difficult sometimes to make it change, but it is a minor issue for me since my phone is mostly on silent.

I love the case. the only thing i don't like about it is that i don't like the way the back feels. i would prefer a more rubber feeling than plastic.And in a loud area it may be a little hard to hear people.

So this is a good case for people who just got there phone or, if you don't want to buy a new one because of water/other damages. And about the Hassle thing when you first get the case, it tells you to test it in water, and if it doesn't you have to keep getting a new one, which is a hassle.

Great case for protection but with or without Bluetooth people say I sound like I sm in a tunnel. Also the headphone extension is a pain. Fix these and it os perfect.

Works excellent at times needed, overall phone is protected except sand scratches tha screen cover, had mine 2 months and already looks like a year old. But it's the best thing out there to protect my phone......

I purchased this for my son as a replacement for another cover. He didn't like the feel of the screen cover. I will be returning for the Nuud model. He did love the color! Wish Nuud had more color choices.

I love my life proof, I'm always near the water and down by the beach. Even if you don't want to use it in the water it's great just so that the solitaire and the fan doesn't end up in your phone. Also is very rugged of drop my phone a couple of times no damages no problems love my life proof

I bought this iPhone case for my daughter . So far she liked it . Standard audio cable will not fit but they have an extender with the case. I thin k because they have to make it water proof, they made the audio connection small and provided an extended cable for it. Overall a good case.

The case has held up well so far after rugged usage and I can tell it will hold up better than any other brands of cases I have used. The only flaw is you need a specific charging cord small enough for the port.

Bought to go on vacation with. While on vacation, My phone decided to take a plunge 10 ft down into the Blue Hole. After diving to get it, my phone was not wet at all and I got to finish my outing with my phone fulling working.

As always, LifeProof makes amazing cases. I originally had an Otterbox for my iPhone 6, as this one was not immediately available. However, I'm very happy that I upgraded to the LifeProof case a couple of months later. It is certainly more durable and does and excellent job protecting my phone.

Good case to own for exercise or outdoor activities. Great purchase when on sale and even best when price match to Amazon's price. Only Cons slippery and screen protector makes the screen touch feel weird.

Looks good and fits great. Kids loved using slow mo feature underwater. Some people have trouble hearing me during phone calls unless I put it on speaker phone.

The case is definitely waterproof and does offer some shock protection from drops, but this really depends on which part of the phone hits when dropped. To make it completely shockproof it would have to be much thicker and more cumbersome and I don't think anyone would want something that big.
