Does what it's designed to do, the speaker gets blocked not bad enough to were you can't hear but the direction of the sound changes. Also sometimes you have to press the phone to your ear in order to better hear The person you're on call with.

The phone is completely waterproof, scratch proof, shock proof. I would recommend anyone with a phone to get a lifeproof case for it.
