This case does what it is supposed to do and it does it well. Very simple to get on, sturdy, yet light weight. Very solid protection for yor phone

As for the LifeProof case, I haven't dropped it really hard or immersed in snow or water yet, so I can only give it 4/5 stars. The ports for charger and earbuds seem to only work with Apple's smaller jack adapters. Larger jack adapters like a Belkin charger or non-Apple earbuds do not fit through the LifeProof case's port openings. Although I chose a white case, it seems to be resisting dirt very well.

I purchased this case to protect my new iPhone 6 from wear and tear. Although I had a more artsy case for my earlier iPhone 5, it did not sufficiently protect my device from drops, and eventually the screen popped lose over time and finally the display conked out. I had to buy a 6. I sampled the Otter Box first but ultimately exchanged that for this product, which offers superior protection and has a plastic screen that covers and protects the actual glass screen, like my protective case on my iPad Air 2. That sold me on it. The only negatives are that with the case on, only Apple issued ear buds will fit directly into the phone. Non-Apple earbuds will require a special attachment to use which is included. The purpose of this attachment is to make the case perfectly waterproof, but this is a bit of overkill for my purposes. Similarly, only Apple flash cables will fit in your phone after you attach this case. Car chargers designed to fit iPhone 5/6 will probably not fit after you attach this case. You will have to plug in a spare Apple flash cable into your car charger (if it has a spare USB port) and then plug the phone into the attached flash cable to keep your phone charging while driving. These are small annoyances to pay for superior protection to your phone.

Bought this case for my daughter. Like most teenagers, she has it in her hands or by her side constantly. We originally bought the tech21 case due to it's protective edging and also purchased the glass screen protector shield when we purchased the phone. The first week with her new iPhone 6s she dropped the phone on its edge on the kitchen floor and the screen cracked but oddly the glass screen protector shield was in perfect condition. The tech21 case that we spent ~$40 did nothing to save the phone nor did the expensive glass screen protector installed at the phone store. It's been a few months now and the LifeProof Case has done a great job after several clumsy mishaps. Only real complaint is that the earphone connection uses a special screw-in earphone cable adapter (included) that you need to use in order to plug in a normal set of earphones or earbuds. As with anything like this, the cable was misplaced/lost and we needed to buy another LifeProof earphone cable in order to use the earphone port. Second complaint is that some after-market power cords will not fit the USB charging port due to the tight fit at the connection inlet. Only OEM or OEM like cables will fit. This is due to LifeProof's design to make the case water tight but it does create some inconveniences and you should consider this when making the purchase of this case. Otherwise it's an excellent case!

My family and I only use LifeProof Cases for our iPhones and have been since LifeProof inception. Our phones have been dropped, fallen on treadmills at the gym, etc. and never sustained any damage or cracked screens. If you want total phone protection, LifeProof is your only choice. The only negative for this product is it seems to limit hearing ability while fielding phone calls. For me, I have difficultly hearing the person I am conversing with so switching to speaker-phone is my work around. iPhone=LifeProof

Great at defending your phone from falls. Case is slim line and easy to hold.

It is lightweight, fashionable, waterproof and very protective. I don't have to worry about anything happening to my phone.

I needed a case that would hold up to a 3 & 1.5 year old. They love to play with & watch videos on it but in the past have dropped & occasionally chewed & slobbered on it. I just got a brand new phone so I wanted it to be protected & the life proof case held up well. The charger port only worked with an actual iPhone charger, the other generic charger was too wide to fit. That's my only complaint. It was dropped, chewed, slobbered on & fought over & it protected my phone completely.

Life proof cases have always been the best protective case on the market and they even look great, very thin and durable.

Great for protecting your phone easy to put on but only bad thing is that some chargers don't fit the narrow opening

this product is better than otterbox and lighter and definitely fits the iphone much better than the otterbox does.

I purchased this case for my wife. We have a toddler who loves to play with her phone. This case is slim enough to be slid into a pocket, but still protects the phone from drool, being dropped from a shopping cart, or slid across the floor. We have also used it to take some pretty awesome underwater photos at the pool this summer and it kept her phone bone dry. Complete the test as the instruction booklet suggests just to be sure you put the case together correctly.

Every year I purchase the newest iPhone model on release date and I always start with buying one of Apple's cases. After seeing a bunch of my friends with their otter boxes and life proof cases, I decided to go ahead and buy one as soon as Best Buy got them in stock. Lifeproof has done a pretty good job with this particular case and it does its job very well. I have used the phone in the pool multiple times without any problems. Some of the things I really like about this case is obviously the durability, waterproofability, and the ability to plug in Apple's earphones without using an adapter. However, most, if not all, third party chargers will not fit the hole at the bottom of the lifeproof FRE which can be a hassle unless you always have Apple's on hand. While the case is a little pricey, Lifeproof's customer service did an amazing job with replacing my damaged case and I received the new one in retail packaging within a week. One thing to watch out for with this case is that even though there is a built in screen protector, the quality of the screen protector is not like the quality of a tempered glass protector and it will scratch! Overall, one of the best waterproof solutions for the new iPhone 6!

My previous lifeproof for the iphone5 was very useful. So when I got this new one for the iphone6, there was no doubt that my phone would be safe. This case is definitely needed on trips to the beach or while doing other outdoor activities. When I take the case off, my phone is in perfect condition. A noteworthy feature is that the headphone input now has a plug attached to the case. The case is light and the finger print reader works just as well as without the case.

lifeproof provides good protection without make phone feel huge. Only downfall is it only accepts OEM chargers

We have bought other Life Proof cases and had to return them because they did not work. This one we were able to get a great price on and so far even underwater has been awesome and complete protection for my 12 year old daughters phone. The white case does get a little dirty but is very easy to clean especially since you can get it wet.

The case is less bulky than others, and doesn't add much bulk to the phone. I only tested it for being waterproof. Will not test it for the other features on purpose but by accident only. I like the case but it seems to interfere with the audio speakers by muting what I hear and what I say. I would recommend it with that one caviate.

Despite all people's complaints about the clasp breaking...I simply love lifeproof. I tried an otterbox for my s4 because of poor lifeproof rating a lifeproof cases. Hated it, it was bulky and hard to fit in my pocket. unded up losing the phone because I set it down instead of trying to shove the fat rubber case in my pocket. These cases may not protect as well for falls. I haven't broken one in 3 years with lifeproof case, also neat to take pictures underwater.
