Bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. We did all the tests to make sure the seals were good before applying it to the phone, but once it was actually DROPPED in water with the case on, It fried his phone. I’d just buy a portable charger if I were you.

Her main complaint was the lack of screen sensitivity with the phone in the case. Ironically, I have an iPhone 6s Plus and the exact same LifeProof case and I love it! I have none of the issues she had. I guess that's why this case was a clearance item when I bought it.

Great case except...

He thought it would be great to have the extra battery life for when he's working in the woods for long hours as a Wildland Firefighter. He's only had it for about 2 months and the extra battery in the case has stopped working. This is not acceptable. Hope the warranty is good.

Case is very finicky

With all of thw products out there including ziplock with color coded seals and true clasps, the poor closure can pop open (happened to me) while in use and cause the seal to allow water to enter and short out the phone). Very disappointing.

Doesn't hold charge for very long. Takes forever to recharge. Side button to mute/unmute phone wasn't able to be switched while case is on.
