I got this case , made by otter box ( look at the fine print) to not be so bulky and have the magnetic charger work on through this case. ( got a magnet holder that induction charges the phone. Cant do it with the defender case, other wise I would have.) So this case is a bit thinner and it does slide around as it doesn't have skid resistance on it. However, very slick and durable case. Also seems very water tight. To preserve this they include a 3.5mm jack that screws into the port on their case. ( if ya got blue tooth you'll never use it, but awesome that they though of it)

This case is wonderful. Keeps my husband's phone safe from all the dust at work. Safe when he drops it on concrete floors and safe from water.

Easy to install, but you need a thin blade to open the case, which makes sense since it is waterproof. Does not interfere with phone's operation.

Protects entire phone. Phone is completely sealed off from water, dust, etc. Much better for typing on the curved screen than glass screen protectors.

I love this case. My phone feels lighter. I now have protection on my screen. My phone is water proof. The case is easy to manage for all the buttons.

I am seriously accident prone and as such my phone takes a lot of punishment. I drop it, crush it, drown it, send it flying, you name it. I have an S8 with the glass wrap case that shatters if you look at it wrong. I got the life proof case to protect it and it has been amazing. I wash my phone daily, i drop my phone almost daily, i squish it with boxes and it has even sailed the lenght of a uhaul truck with out a scratch. After a year, my phone still looks brand new and works like a charm. Lifeproof customer for life.

The case has definitely helped with drops to protect it, I got it for the fact that it had the built in screen protector, have yet to test the waterproof part. I'm clumsy and have dropped it several times and it's protected the screen and overall condition of the phone. Only downfall is after a bit the buttons stop working with the case. I've had to use the warranty to get another one.

You get what you pay for, it'll last basically last forever if taken care of. My only minor complaint is that you have to screw in and unscrew the aux port cover.

Case is great and isn't very bulky. Easy to put on the phone and works great.

Fits very well to the phone, but doesn't look like you should take it out once put in.

My girlfriend got this for her new Galaxy S8 and loves the color. It protects nicely, but has trouble with using the edge feature on the S8 curved screen.

This case was actually bought for my husband. He loves the sleekness of the case and my daughter loves the fact that she can drop her phone in the pool now without destroying it...or should I say mom loves that fact! The only downside is that due to the sealed case hearing can be a bit difficult. Luckily my husband uses a bluetooth for music and calls so this case works just fine.

I love that the screen protection is built in. The case is sturdy, but lightweight. Have no fear of breaking the phone now!

Complete protection including screen cover is a plus for this light weight case. Screw covering audio is difficult to remove.

Great protection for my phone. Very few color choices and a bit pricey.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and had a cheap case and screen protector on it. After cracking my screen twice and having to pay the repair costs I decided to get something heavier-duty. This LifeProof case has been awesome and it's waterproof! Also covers every Edge and you can still see the curves on your screen which a lot of cases didn't with the S8. Definitely recommend it and we'll be buying another LifeProof case in the future when I upgrade my phone.

Not bulky at all. Very sturdy and I love that it comes with a screen protector and makes my phone waterproof.

In terms of protective measures, Lifeproof boast that the FRĒ can be submersed in 2 metres of water for up to 2 hours and it can survive drops from up to 2 metres. As its water proof, this means that both snow and dirt cannot enter the case or damage your Samsung Galaxy s8. With that said, you still have full access to the main features of your Galaxy S8 such as the touch screen, buttons and cameras, however there is an installation process that you need to abide by.

Case fits pretty well, there is a bit of space between the screen protector and the screen at the edges, but nothing that causes problems.

Very protective case, a bit on the pricey side, but for what a phone costs these days it's cheap by comparison.
