Messes up my face recognition but protects the phone

I bought three of these at the same time for myself, my husband and my brother. After an adjustment period with the sound it is amazing! Being that it’s fully encased the sound vibrates the back of the case and seems to come out there instead of where the speakers are… weird but for the extra layer of waterproof protection it’s worth it. The screen protector has little dots on it that annoy my husband but my brother and I never notice them so it’s more of a preference thing. I have a MagSafe charger from Apple and it DOES work with this case on BUT it doesn’t magnetize as securely as it does without it on. With that being said though my phone hasn’t come disconnected throughout the night and I haven’t woken up to a dead phone. So this is well worth the 90 dollars I paid.

As with other lifeproof cases, it’s sturdy and keeps water out. The knob for turning silent mode on or off is a little strange but I have adjusted to it. I have noticed that with the facial recognition, sometime the camera can’t quite see correctly. A little pricy.

The case in itself is really good. I dipped it in water prior to installation and it is really waterproof. What disappointed me was that the facial recognition did not worked out of the box. I have to removed the two tiny plastic dots inside the plastic screen for this feature to work. Took it snow tubing and it work as advertised.

I bought this for my I phone 12 Pro to use when I am out doing yard work or going to the beach etc. The main attraction is having the phone completely enclosed so if it is dropped in the water, sand or dirt, there will be no scratching or other problems. Yes the I phone is water proof, but with this amount of $$$ involved I want to keep it looking new. The case is easy to use and seals with a snap that seems like it is everything it is supposed to be. The screen still works well with the extra cover over it. I also have a glass protector, so it still works well with the 2 covers on top of the apple surface. I know several people who swear by the LifeProof brand, so I spent the extra dollars to get this instead of a less expensive version of the enclosed case.

Happy with the LifeProof case - Dropped my phone in the lake and took ~ 15 minutes to find. Case worked! No issues. Case is on the expensive side but well worth purchase.

I'm a huge fan of LifeProof cases and have always bought one since they were first offered for the iPhone. This case has defiantly saved me from costly repairs in the past. I will always continue to buy LifeProof as the customer service is outstanding. There have been a few reviews of how the facial recognition does not work with this case. I found that when I removed the two plastic "dots" on the inside of the clear case with my fingernail, and cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive, the facial recognition works flawlessly. I've found nothing adverse by removing the inexplicable dots of plastic.

I purchased this waterproof/dust proof phone case for my husband, whose outside work has proven challenging for keeping previous protective phone cases free of debris from plants, mulch, etc… So far, the LifeProof FRE case has worked perfectly. It cushions his new phone from any potential drops, while keeping it clear of the inevitable dust and debris he encounters in his everyday activities. We both highly recommend this phone case.

I like the case. I feel like my phone is really protected and I love the built in screen protector. The only problem I have is the case interferes the microphone part of the phone.

It protects my camera unlike other cases, the screen cover is sturdy plastic. The plastic gets scratched easily which sucks. I chose camera protection. It was also silly expensive.

It’s a tough case that seems to protect the phone well. I don’t think it’s as thick as my previous case (Otterbox Survivor) but I bought what BB had in stock as I prefer buying local. I like that it comes in two interlocking pieces with great protection for the front glass, back, corners and sides. The camera lenses are also well protected. The case provides excellent protection from moisture. Just check on the clear lens cover for streaks and dirt before shooting photos.

This is my 4th lifeproof Fre case for iPhones and it’s every bit as good as previous models. Very sleek design and fit. Buttons and charging port work as they should. Screen looks bright and crisp and Face ID works flawlessly. I was previously using cheap waterproof case from Amazon which is much bulkier and the touch didn’t work well at phone corners. Also the screen was a bit dull. Highly recommend spending the money for the Fre case to protect such a nice phone.

Lifeproof makes a good product. The battery cover is difficult to get open. That is the biggest issue with this case. It has a nice fit on the case.

Durable product. Muffles sound at times. I can hear fine. Others struggle to hear me at times. I guess it’s the price you pay for a waterproof case??

The case is great except the front screen protector. The way it’s set up is giving my phone issues using Face ID.

I absolutely LOVE Lifeproof cases!! As soon as I upgrade my phone, I immediately purchase a Lifeproof case. I plow snow and lost my phone while plowing/shoveling for 2 weeks, once the snow melted and I found it, I charged the phone and it worked perfect

After 2 years of having a life proof case on my phone it still looked brand new. Ive been convinced since. Couldn’t be happier with the new iPhone 12 Pro case. Fits very slick on the phone and barley feels like you have a case on it. I’m not very good with phones and usually always break my screen. Life proof definitely lives up to their hype. Worth the penny
