My only deduction is that there is a slight give while it is mounted. Overall one of the best bike mounts products I could find.

After a few bike rides, I tried to remove the phone from the mount and the entire square piece pulled off from the back of the phone. It's a great concept the mount system but Lifeproof needs to come up with a better solution. I was even sticking the piece of the back of a Lifeproof case.
