They are drop proof, splash proof, food proof, and most of all KID proof. Tested thoroughly by my 8 year old wreaking ball of a boy. The best feature us that the case allows the user to touch the actual screen. No haptic mishaps! The downside is price.

The charging port is large enough for different brands of cables, which is nice. Past models of lifeproof cases didn't have this feature. Also, headphones can be used without an adapter.
