You don't need that little cord to access the headphone plug. It's smaller and lighter yet still provides the protection you need. If you're looking for a durable case without a lot of bulk I would highly recommend this case.

After going through the set up, I realized that it did not line up with the camera and some of the function buttons. The 2 hr round trip to the store was even more frustrating, when finding out that Life proof does not offer a case for the air 2 yet. Looks like it is a great case and I am on the manufacturers waiting list.

I would've thought that it would've been as easy to use as the fre case that I tried out before purchasing and waiting for the nuud :/ kinda disappointed in how it was built. It nonetheless it does it's job.
