Great product works as advertised and is great if you travel a lot.

The case itself is great. The cover does not close the iPad down for some reason. I had the same case and cover for my mini and it was awesome.

The headphone port is covered with a flimsy rubber plug... Bring back the scew-in plug!

External Buttons and jack holes do not align with the Air Pad as listed.

Can't control the volume when the case is on. No high or low, just loud.

This case is for the IPad Air NOT the IPad Air 2. No Life-Proof Case for the IPad Air 2 has come out yet. Had to take the case back to the store.

This is an incredible product. I have been a loyal purchaser of Lifeproof products ever since they developed a case to cover my iPhone 4s. I use their products on all of my apple mobile devices. The nüüd screenless technology is incredible. I've had the fré case on my iPad Air before, and I wasn't too keen on the typical "screen bubble" you come to find with cases these days. The nüüd offers all of the waterproof protection you have come to expect with Lifeproof products, with the ability to put your fingers on the actual screen of the iPad. The case does not have a screw in attachment for the headphone jack, as with previous Lifeproof models, instead opting for a rubber gasket. A standard pair of Apple earbuds connects with ease, but a thicker molded plastic around the headphone jack on other models may prove difficult to attach. The lightning port works with the apple supplied cord, as well as with my 3 meter Griffin cord. Due to the hinge in the port opening, putting the iPad Air on a charging cradle seems impossible. The volume and home buttons work flawlessly with the case, but the volume keys need to be pressed harder than you might expect. The mute switch works well. It makes it easier to use with the case as opposed to without. Sound quality is great. I got this case for the drop protection and the waterproof ability. I generally use my iPad for personal use both inside and outside the home as well as traveling. This case suits me fine. I gave it four stars because even with all the great benefits it adds, I felt it could be thinner and perhaps a little lighter. At present, it is not too cumbersome, but there is always room for improvement.

Can't heare when FaceTime at all and can barely hear music when loud as well

As a first time iPad owner, I didn't know what to buy for an iPad case. I've been thinking about using my iPad for band gigs, but I just keep having nightmares that it's going to be soaked in beer or else someone is going to drop it, step on it, who knows. This case is really tough. Mine even came with a dummy iPad (piece of plastic shaped like iPad) to test the case for waterproof-ness. I'm impressed. I paired my case with a film screen protector
