I've had to replace this product twice in the one week of ownership. The call quality is garbage due to the great protection from the elements. The case itself is what you'd come to expect from life proof, however not the quality we've all come to know and appreciate. The reason I needed to return this item twice was due to the door clips where the apple lightening charger goes into broke. Twice. This was within a weeks time. Aside from what it's intended to do, which is protect your phone from the elements, which it does well, it just fails horribly when it comes to opening and closing the charging access tab as it breaks very easily. Save your money for a better design and go with something else for the time being.

I bought a this case directly from LifeProof. The case failed miserably and life proof representative told me that there was a known flaw with the design. They were getting feedback from customers that the cases were failing and were not selling this type anymore. Also that the improvements to the case were better for the next release of the iPhone 6 Plus case. Here is the thing, for a warranty replacement they did not have any cases to replace it with and the new cases were 5 weeks away from shipping. Im out another insurance claim and have spent over $600 over this issue out of pocket with life proof offering a refund. Stay away from this case for now.

This case is a good waterproof case, and unlike others I did not have the call quality issues. I did have ringtone, and audio playback issues where the case didn't allow for a loud enough sound to come out, also the charging port opening is small so you cant use 3rd party chargers which is a downside for me.

I've always been a fan of the Lifeproof series of products. I've had cases on my 4s and 5s so I was naturally inclined to purchase this for my 6+. I had bought and exchanged this case 3 times, before giving up. The first & second cases wouldn't seal properly, which appeared to be an alignment issue at the top of the case. The 3rd case, which did seal better than the first two, still had an issue with the top alignment but the fatal flaw was the microphone. I on numerous occasions had to take my phone out of the case to be heard. While a "tunnel-esque" quality is common with the Lifeproof cases, having to pull the case off the phone to be heard is ridiculous. Life proof failed on this version of their product, which is sad. Save yourself the money on this one and look elsewhere. You will not be happy with this product, I guarantee it.

The charger port cover broke in less then 2 weeks, ALSO a HUGE Flaw, is that it completley covers the speakers and microphone, talking on the phone is NEAR Impossible, watching videos and movies will require headphones or a speaker, the sound is absolutely horrid...

couple things that I see that are bad with this case, the little flap at the bottom, it has some pins that snap shut, after several days; those snaps will break off. also the cord that comes w/ it, to use with your head(ear)phones, is too big for the OEM and it will give you lots of distortion and a mumble sound.

Got this for my wifey, no where near as good as her old life proof case. no place for a wrist strap, the bottom clip is so poorly designed it broke after 5 or 6 uses. she only uses this case for her fun runs, or days at the water park. sad for such a good experience last generation.

I read many reviews on the new Lifeproof case. It made me doubt if this case was going to be as good as past products I've used. Well after attaching the case I believe it will protect my iPhone with no problem.

I have always been the type of customer to read the reviews before I purchase products. And the reviews are true about the ports breaking off. I am a 1st time buyer for LifeProof. I wanted my son to have it due to protective qualities it had. I pushed the case on him(no he didn't want it) and now a week later the port for the AUX cord is broken.Considering the amount of money paid for this case I would expect it to be a great case. And yes there is also difficulty hearing, they have a mottled sound when on speaker. A refund would be greatly appreciated..!!!

Do not buy "this" LifeProof product. The charge port door broke in less than a week. I'd seen reviews from others complaining about this and thought they were being rough. Clearly the port door for the LifeProof Nuud iPhone 6 Plus case is poorly designed. I have had LifeProof cases since my iPhone 4S. All my previous LifeProof cases have been quite durable and generally last at least a year or two. LifeProof needs to redesign this case and provide replacements for all existing customers.

This case has been the biggest waste of money for me. The case makes this loud "hot mic" sound every time I make a phone call. This loud beep will not go away until I give up and hang up on the person I'm talking to. I tried to contact the company, they told me to blow on the mic cover. This did not work. I have contacted them again, hopefully they will do the right thing.

Fir the record I have owned multiple Lifeproof cases and never had any issues with them. They even helped me when the pipe in my bathroom broke and I had to make an emergency phone call with water spraying everywhere. But this newest case has been nothing but trouble. I bought one of the cases when it was first released. Though I am not sure when that was because Lifeproof.com never sent me the alert that the case was available; I checked here on a whim and saw it was for sale. That case lasted me about a month and a half I'd say before the problem occurred. The lightning port cover has these little plastic tabs that click in and one of them broke off. I thought nothing of it until the other tab broke off as well. The reason they break so easily is that when the case seals the two halves line up evenly but the case doesn't have a click point near the lightning port , so the pieces don't exactly go flush against each other. Eventually the tabs will break off, just look at the other reviews. Since I didn't have the receipt I sucked it up and bought a new case about a week ago and here we go again. The same problem occurred, the cover tab broke off. And yeah, I bought this case about a week ago, 5 days ago to be exact. So it looks like I will be going back to the store and returning it.

I bought this case for its well known capabilities. I had one for my 5 and bought one for my 6 plus the other day. I ended up returning it the same day. No one could here me talking while on the phone and I could barely here them. My trusty third party charging cable did not fit into this case which i used when I had the 5. A case that expensive should be next to flawless but it was not in my opinion. I will try to find a better case elsewhere.

Awful, do not purchase. No one can hear me, sounds like in a tunnel they say.

This case is well worth the cost. It will protect the phone you love from any condition you could be in as well as from most falls and drops

They spend 7-8 months designing this case yet the clips that hold the charging port door don't last longer than two weeks. They have already sent me 4 replacement cases and they all have lasted less then two weeks before the charge port door clips break and it no longers stays closed. I am now returning them all for a refund.

I hated this case when I first got it for my birthday. It looked weird without the glass protection. Most charger brands wouldn't even fit in the port. I've had to remove the case to charge it. It breaks easily if gnawed on. The FRE life proof case was able to handle that but this one didn't. I'm never buying nuüd again.

I bought my 13 year old her first phone and she wanted the Lifeproof case. After reading the reviews and talking with the Best Buy associates, we made our choice. I water tested it per the instructions and all seemed good. Of course, my daughter got the case wet and it leaked and we all know what happens when an Iphone 6s hits water. No worries, we were sold by the Best Buy associate that the case / phone would be warranted against damage - less deductable. ***Warning*** Despite what the Best Buy associates tell you, the Lifeproof cases they sell do not warranty the phone. Just the case. I called Lifeproof and they said only the cases sold by Verizon warranty the phone. I told my daughter she needed to handle it so we went back to Best Buy. She asked the Best Buy floor associate and the service desk and they both told her that I was wrong, the phone was covered. So we found the Manager On Duty and she told us the same thing! There is hope! So we called Lifeproof together only to confirm that the cases at Best Buy do not cover the phone. The store associates really need to be trained to prevent this from happening to others. My daughter is out a phone after two weeks. Lifeproof said they would send me a new case if I filed a claim but what good would a case do now that my daughter no longer has a working phone. Sadly, both companies have let us down but they have taught my daughter a valuable life lesson.

I can barely hear anything with the case on, and yes I tried adjusting the ear piece in settings. When i take the case off, it's fine. I can hear better on speaker than with the phone to my ear. Returning today..

Bought this as open box, it clearly had been used and had some signs of wear on it along with lipstick. Should check items better before re sell.
