I like the case and the waterproof concept, but the sound is muffled when you play music or use speaker phone. I guess it has to be if it's a waterproof case though. If you truly need a waterproof case, buy it! If not, I'd get something else.

The case is very protective of my phone and it keeps me from having to worry about dropping it in water and also dropping it on the floor also cracking my screen but the downside is that the microphone is covered so that my calls are muffled.

This case is one of the best I've owned over the years. It's quite rugged, it seals up well and provides excellent protection of the speaker and microphone. The clear back is a nice touch that allows you to see the back of the phone and the Apple logo (or other items on the back of the phone). One of the nicest features is the case doesn't have the built in plastic screen protector. Built in protectors tend to wear out and scratch the screen after prolonged use. It does come with a stick on protector if you decide to use it, so it's not necessary to spend money on one separately. Overall, this is a great case that I trust to protect a $1000 out-of-pocket phone.

Great protection and very slim. The only thing I don't care for is you cannot purchase an aftermarket charger as it doesn't fit through the opening in the case. That's a pretty important function so due to that I would not recommend

This product did exactly what is was supposed to. Phone calls were a bit muffled, but I used my headphones and it solved the problem. The only complaint was the chincy screen protector they provide came off within 24 hours.

I liked the performance of the Nuud iPad version so I purchased one for my iPhone. The only problem was when speaking thru its water proof barrier people on the other end could only hear me intermittently. That's a huge problem for a $700 phone and a $100 phone case, I returned it and purchased a Tech21 which isn't quite water proof but it is water resistant. I've been using the Tech21 for over 6 months with zero problems. To be fair I have a Lifeproof case for my work iPhone and it' has functioned perfectly for over two years. I think I just got a lemon on this plus version. Best Buy happily refunded my money.

the prongs for the charger port break all the time. Impossible to talk people complain extremely muffled. Not practical...probaly awesome if dropped under water.

Purchased to protect iPhone to avoid buying replacement plan. Although there is no front screen, it does seem to protect the phone well. The problem is other people can't hear you on the phone. It sounds muffled when the case is on, take off the case for perfect sound. We decided to keep the case and buy the protection plan - we'll use the case during extreme conditions ( Beach, pool, lake & ski slopes) then a regular case so you can actually hear what is said under normal conditions. If we could hear what is being said into the phone, we would be happier & change our opinion.

When making a phone call other people said that my voice sounded very muffled and far away from phone. Loved the design & protection it provided though.

I am hard on phones and this case saved my phone. I forgot it in my pocket and went swimming for an hour and my phone still works great. The only problem is the speaker is muffled becaus of the waterproof case.

Normally I faithfully read several reviews before purchase, except this time. My Lifeproof Fre for the iPhone 5 was perfect, but the Nuud totally let me down. This review is on the original version, not version 2. The charging door broke after 3 weeks, both mine and the wife's, and the case was no longer waterproof. Lifeproof has been generous and has replaced both for $4.99 each. The version 2 that we now have looks like it might work. Only time will tell. However, the sound still seems muffled and the screen protector lacks the quality one would expect for a $100 case.

Both mine and my husbands cases broke within a few weeks. The little tab that holds the charge door shut snapped off. Lifeproof sent replacements for free but it was a pain. Otherwise good case.

It's great for protecting phone but if you use speaker it sounds muffled and distorted and I can't use my car charger I have to take off to use.

Great product with a great warranty; my item case had structural issues and I had to go through the hassle to have it returned, etc. But have had a number of lifeproof cases and they do the job!

If you are looking for a case that protects the phone from moisture, dirt, scratches, or damage while keeping the package relatively thin this is a great case. However, once the case is on don't try to use the phone. Callers will not be able to hear you. Making all the adjustments recommended by Lifeproof and through the Apple forums still did not fix the problem. Ultimately I decided to get a different case and risk damage rather than continue to shout through all of my phone calls. Bottom line, great at protection, lousy at making phone calls.

At first it felt a little bulky,but I got use to use pretty quick. I love it so far!Ive taking it to the pool and take pictures and it works great. I feel very confident taking my phone any where.

I water tested and it did prevent water from reaching my phone. I do have a problem hearing people though. Other than that, great product.

Case is durable. It is also nice sleek and slim. However the sound seems to get muffled. We removed part of the cover for headphones and keep the bottom flap open which seems to help.

Great case. Pretty compact for the 6 plus and protects well. Needed a waterproof case and Life Proof had the best reviews/satisfaction.

Good case. Only issue, about 2 weeks into using the case the charge port door fell apart like egg shells in my hand. I have never dropped the case, no abuse at all. The upside I think I am the 1% and this is rare, also lifeproof warranty is awesome and so is their tech support. They are sending me a replacement case at no cost, no shipping charge or anything. Would have taken back to bestbuy, still have receipt but it was 2 days past the return policy, didn't even try to return it through them. Hopefully this doesn't happen again or I'll be rethinking lifeproof cases, too expensive to be doing this regularly.
