Unfortunately, one of the very few "waterproof" cases on the market. This company used to be the gold standard in cases, but now they have joined forces with OtterBox, quality and customer service are DISMAL. I have killed an iPhone5S in a lifeproof, all they "guarantee is the case". The new line doesn't come with belt clips, instead some elementary stick on clip. Attached is the pic of my girlfriend's case that I bought when the Fre first came out (2015)...didn't even last until June. It took me almost a MONTH to get them to replace it. If there were another reliable waterproof case on the market, I would never use Lifeproof again.

I've been a life proof fan for awhile. The nuud case for iPhone 6 is an awesome case. I was using it in the pool last weekend. Fun to take pictures underwater. When making/receiving calls, sometimes I do get feedback or the squelch tone. I have to change to speaker and back again to clear it up.

I am a clumsy person to begin with so I decided to get a sturdy phone case to protect my phone. I really like that it is not a bulky case like some of the outter boxes I've seen before. I also think it's really cool that it is water proof, it made my beach vacation a little easier. The only things that I am not a huge fan of is the head phone jack because sometimes it is difficult to unscrew and I have had people tell me before that while I'm on the phone with them my voice sounds a little gargled. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I would reccomwnd it to a friend.

My dad bought a new iPhone and I told him to get a case as well. He chose this one for its waterproofing. It fits perfectly, feels very comfortable in the hand and lightweight. He did drop it several times and once in a puddle and it worked perfectly at protecting the phone. It is a bit pricey, but way cheaper than buying a new phone.

The case does exactly what I need it to do - it protects it from breaking when dropped. My child has damaged the phone when dropping it in water - you can take it in the river and record with it and the quality is great. Only drawback is the sound when talking is not great. Additionally the only chargers that work are the actual Apple chargers and not any others that you may buy for it. All in all - extremely happy, just make sure the case stays on and you register it within 14 days and don't loose the registration number inside the box it comes in.

So far this case is awesome. Bought for Florida weather (especially water). There are a couple things you should know when getting the phone. For some people, it might be a deal-breaker, but it is the sacrifice that you must make if you want your phone waterproof (I'm assuming). First, the special waterproof adapter will disable the microphone on the phone if you plug in an AUX cable or headphones without a microphone built in. The special Jack in the adapter includes the three sections on the plug for the stereo headphones and microphone. If you plug regular headphones in or aux jack with no mic, the iPhone automatically disabled the microphone because it thinks (because of the adapter) there is a headphone cable with a mic attached to it. This makes it hard when I plug in my AUX jack for the car and I get a phone call. I can't talk back unless I unplug the AUX cable. Big downside for me. Secondly, the sound from your speaker resonates through the plastic on the back. So the sound can sound weird if you're holding it in your hand (kinda like a hand radio). Other than that, awesome case. I use the case when I know I'm going near water. If they can figure out a work-around for the adapter, that would be awesome! For now, I use my old case and put the life proof on when I know I'm going near water.

This is a great case to protect from the elements. If you have had a life prove case before, read no further. You are aware of the issues. It is hard for others to hear you and sometimes you will be told you are muffled. Even with the charger flap unhinged its hard for people to hear you on speakerphone. This case does protect the way it claims though. I will always buy one and deal with the problems of hearing.

Purchased this case for a long 80 mile hike through Philmont in the Rockie mountains. It did a great job. It's fairly light weight for what it is and it's fairly smooth and not bulky. One side would snap together and show a slight gap but it was not enough to let water in. It rained 8 out of 10 days and never leaked. Also took it white water rafting and held up there too.

This case seems to be a mostly indestructible case and waterproof. It is great that it is waterproof without needing a cover of the screen. The case was very expensive for a phone case but for a 13-year old, its better than taking the risk of having to replace an iPhone 6.

I just received this case today. Still not sure about it. People are having a hard time hearing me. If u open the bottom it's a little clearer. I called lifeproof and asked them about it they told me to turn off the noise background in settings. I'll give it a couple of days to see if people still say they can't hear me. Other than that I love the looks of the case.

I'm gun shy from taking my phone around water after a life proof case killed my 5S. I still recommend it for shock value and water resistance, but the quality of the craftsmanship has severely gone downhill since their merger with OtterBox. I bought two cases on the same day. One for my phone, and my girlfriend. I've already had to send hers back for replacement as the volume toggle button cracked off hers. Microphone quality still sucks. Most people will say they cannot hear you unless you have the microphone Halfway down your throat. Want to talk while holding the phone on your shoulder, not going to happen. They have also change the belt clip. There isn't one. They've come up with some sixth-grade invention for a belt clip. #Fail I have looked at other waterproof cases, but unfortunately life proof is the best of the worst.

This is actually for my hubby's phone. But, I like it and so does he. Phone seems well protected, nice and thin. Not sure how watertight it is as one corner doesn't seem very tight. I don't think that will be an issue for him however. My biggest beef with the case is what it does to the speaker/ringer. Sounds like a tin can speaker covered in Saran Wrap. I hate watching videos on his phone. Although, he might like that, hahahaha.

Case does muffle the sound both from your speaker and to people listening on the other end of your call. In the end I kept it as I just listen through my Bluetooth speaker usually and the protection is worth it. I also wish they had a color that went well with the gold iphone since it shows through the clear back of the case

Being a clumsy person, this case is perfect for me to drop, throw, forget, and abuse. There are a couple of downfalls, the camera gets a filmy, haze from the lint in your pockets and the charging port only fits the most compact charging chords. Luckily the headphone jack has an adapter, but i would still like to see a larger opening for me to choose to use the jack without the adapter.

Case is great for protection and looks great. Only problem is sometimes it's hard for people to hear you bc its water tight and the opening for sound doesn't work so well. So if you want the protective function of the case, be prepared to talk loudly or open up the charger port for better talking / speaker functions. Enjoy

I was a little hesitant about this lifeproof case because Ive had problems with LP cases for other phones but I have to say that they did a pretty great job with this one! I love that it doesn't have a screen protector attached to the case, but it's still perfectly capable of protecting your phone (and it still come with a screen scratch proof-like protector). I can actually hear out of this one and don't have problems with people not being able to hear me. I adore that the back is clear, that leads to so many personalizable possibilities! Overall it's a great case. It's already taken quite a beating and still looks great! 4 stars instead of 5 only because sometimes I do have a problem with people hearing me if I'm holding my phone between my shoulder and ear (hands free), and I have had a few instances of people sounding muffled on my end. (But I popped the case off and cleaned the speaker slits & then it was fine!) Also, it's a little irritating that the white part on the front of my case is already changing colors, but I keep my phone in my back pocket so it could just be the dye in my jeans.

I really really like this case. I previously used the Fre and liked the protection it offered but hated the delay in the touch screen response due to the plastic faceplate. The nuud is awesome because it offers decent waterproof protection while keeping the phone face exposed so the response time isn't decreased. The Fre also made it difficult to see the phone screen underwater (glare). With the Nuud case, I was able to see my phone screen perfectly underwater and actually see what I was taking pictures of while snorkeling. The only downside is the faceplate beveling does make it tricky to use the iPhone shortcuts such as tapping the top center of the screen to go to the top of the page, or swiping up from the bottom to get to a menu.

Great case. Great fit. Pretty thin. Fits in my pocket well. Worked great when used in water at the waterpark. I have however had a slight signal issue and a random screeching sound when talking to someone. Not sure if it is specifically due to the case or to a signal problem.

Good protection, and easy to put on the phone. I did not like the fact that it gets dirty easily especially the teal part of the case. Withing the first 3 days of purchase it was already dirty from jean coloring. But overall good at serving its purpose of protection.

Pros: Waterproof and very durable. I drop my phone a lot and it withstood the beating without damaging the phone. Excellent photos and video under water. Unlimited replacement warranty through life proof. Cons: Make sure you test the case first- my first one leaked during test. Door for power charger tends to wear down over time- making the product non waterproof- and will need to be replaced (for free) via lifeproof. Extremely bad for other parties to hear your voice. Tends to be muffled. Music is also muffled due to air tight case.
